I really dont know the guy I bought it from used it in a rail car setup then in a pinto i believe. I was going to get new pistons becuase I was going turbo. If I were to geuss Id say the 10:1-11:1 range

Anyone have a contact with a place who can do media blasting? I am wanting to get some quotes to get the front subframe on the Nova blasted for when I do the suspension build. Just the frame only nothing else. anyone have a ballpark in price?

Thanks guys.... yeah pretty much doing suspension and brakes and some new wheels and tires little by little over the summer. I have been looking for a 454 4 bolt block, I have built a bunch of sbc stuff but really wanting to do a bbc and build a 496. But the car is just a real solid west coast car, and the car does not need any real body work id rate the paint a 6-7/10 though

I might even go 2 bolt and have the block splayed but would rather hold out for a 4 bolt

I have a 74 351block .030 Ohio Crankshaft Stroker clipped for 6" rods. Eagle H Beam 6" Rods and Forged BRC Flat Top Pistons Bought from a guy on corral who ran this setup minus the crank which is brand new from ohio crank in his rail car. I was putting this together for the mustang I no longer have Will let this all go for 600.00 Block has been cleaned and bores look good, block is bare Rods and pistons are assembled I do not know how many runs are on them no signs of detonation on them Crank is new from ohio crank, it is forged steel crank i believe. Makes it a 377 block is the "strong" block from the early 70s 600.00 or Trade for Chevy stuff
