  5. thanks ray. I have some big changes in store for the car and looking forward to having patrick work the tune
  6. I am not sure how standard it is. I have a comp license but my buddy has a military id and he was at the 11th store and they gave him a discount card which is the same as my racer discount card....so its worth a shot i guess. just ask if they still do a military discount deal
  7. are you military? I believe they will give the same discount they give nhra licensed competitors. Or if you have a comp license you can get the racer discount number
  8. kilkare has one tomorrrow ill proly go if there is no rain
  9. ill tell my buddy hes been bitching forever
  10. hey Brian I will shoot you a pm. Looks like Big stuff wont have my box ready for 3-4 weeks...so I will be holding onto these parts for a touch longer so my car is not down for the racing season. Will still list it for sale but wont be dismantling it until the fall.
  11. you can hook step one to a momentary switch and it engages both steps at whatever low setting you want to bump into the lights at and once you depress your transbrake it goes to whatever you want to set your launch rpm at. Its the only way to have a solid 3 step in a stock pcm car. Works very well, Im sure I can find the diagram that ray made and its posted all over the internet. It uses two msd 2 step ls launch control units and then these two relay boxes that ray built.
  12. It's a company that makes a brand new harness. It's for gen 3 ls motor cable driven only thing you need to add is coil pack harness and a pcm. Very quality piece I paid around 550 shipped http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/1999-02Vortec48L53L60LCableThrottleEngineManagementHarness.jpg
  13. Im making a couple changes... these parts perform like new and not a single problem with them. can see them operate prior to purchase if needed. Precision PT8847 Turbo .96 A/R Exhaust Housing and t4 flanged. This has been the longest standing baddest t4 out there. made 1051 on my car at 17lbs boost. Exhaust housing has been coated by nitro plate and the compressor housing was polished at IPS. SOLD! Techrods lsx standalone harness for swap vehicles. This harness is a brand new harness made primarily for cars that are getting swaps done to. Takes all the work off your hands. Has EV1 Injectors connectors. Every connector you need for all the sensors on gen 3 ls engines. You hook up like 3-4 power and ground connectors and thats it. connects to a stock 411 pcm. 300.00 2- 411 gm pcms they have my 100.00 each.... unlocked as they were tuned by brian MSD three step setup. I may part this out if no one wants a complete three step that will work on an ls car to build boost. the setup is for a boosted engine that allows you to bump into the lights under boost on the first step and then click into the 2nd step and launch the car. utilizes two seperate MSD 2 step launch control units and a custom relay box designed and build by Ray Litz. 465.00 for this All parts will be ready to go on july 15th. Posting here first before I make an LS1tech and yellobullet thread. I dont expect them to last long at these prices.
  14. yes, and I believe my buddy is able to do his own spray cans and can probably get one to people who have the cars down for touchups if ever needed. I know he has power washed the stuff, put it through multiple automatic car washes and even help a heat gun to a wheel that he dipped and it took a ton of heat before it even began to melt...pretty impressive stuff.
  15. a little better pics http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/IMG_0691.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/IMG_0692.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/IMG_0693.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/IMG_0694.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/IMG_0687.jpg
  16. yeah, the stuff is durable it has been tested on daily drivers over 2-3 years and power washing along with automatic car washes. I will be testing hot rubber on the quarters this friday really is a ton of work but his finished product is nice
  17. should of put a patent on it.... lol
  18. will proly get windows tinted been wanting to do it for a while and the car did look pretty sweet before we started peeling it http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/20130625_201524.jpg
  19. Yeah never saw that show or knew about "murder nova" till I dipped my car and got some comments... lol my car is no murder nova... I dont have a prostock engine under the hood thats whats cool about this stuff I was not sure if I want to peel the body molding or not and if I want to put it back I can spray over it and it will blend perfect. I plan on taking a couple to post tonight with a real camera http://www.dipped-whips.com/ This is his website and his contact info is on there. It really is a labor intensive job... without any bs he spend about 7 hours on my car, hes super meticulous and has the method down to where the finished product is smooth not all rough and bumpy. anyone who does not see this car at the track, it will be at the arthritis show this year with a few other of dans dipped cars to get an idea of his work.
  20. No weight at all... A whole car was peeled and weighed and it was ounces
  21. no the jambs are still red.If you want to spend the time and money then jambs could be done. but with this setup it will just all peel off in big sheets and will be back to the old red in less than an hour of clean up when I want to put it back
