  1. never been down that track or been there, but depending on day I would be down
  2. September... Bowling Green ky I'm running true street there
  3. I agree with anthony not for highway use for sure. I am still hashing these shock settings out but just went 1.36 60 on them the other day @17psi. Love them tires on my car. Sidewall is soft and that will wear out before you wear the tread out on them
  4. for 80 bucks if we have 15 total people pay that trails will rent us the track from noon-5 on a wed/fri. been wanting to organize one but its hard to get a feel for people if they would 1. pay that and 2.be that much of an interest.
  5. another spot for me....right off the trailer then got booted for no neck collar..time to turn it up a little more TurboNova 9.15@150.66 1.36 60' 6-1-13--72 Nova--turbo http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/7da72df4-32ff-42f1-b756-50c94407e6e0.jpg
  6. God I was an idiot for selling that car....it was a ton of fun and I didnt hardly drive it.
  7. hmm i might, just depends how the weather is.
  8. Kilkare will be lucky to have the track open by july, you can always check to see if rentals are happening and get in on it at NTR
  9. yup, hell i had twin a1000s and -10 dual feed and still had to upgrade to a cable driven pump. Fuel stuff I think is one of the items in my build I did not really budget for and it caught me off guard.
  10. The only issue with starting low and working your way up is that you will constantly buy the same parts over and over again if you are trying to keep price somewhat in check. Most obvious thing I think of is fuel system, if you start N/A 300rwhp then eventually get to 600rwhp boosted on e85 you are going to rethink alot and spend alot more. In the end I have had a ton of 500rwhp+ cars and defining fast and the seat of the pants feeling varies from person to person. If I tell someone that my nova makes 1200hp and the fastest car they have been in is a stock VW Golf they have no basis to understand the difference. Do tons of research and build what you want not what 99% of the internet says, that way you enjoy your work and money spent. And as with everything like stated before...too many mods can make the car not as fun to just "drive".
  11. I work that area... I hang out in the "hood" from 10p-6a 5 nights a week. Not a single worry here... Just prefer not to take my car there.
  12. worked there about 12 years ago as a tech for 3 years and its funny to still see the bare spots on the wall where tools were meant to be. Sucked working there because you always needed those tools but they were never able to be found. People would quit and take a couple tools with them it seemed.
  13. looked into this a while back but the internet was slower than dsl and just a little bit faster than dial up so i passed. I do think that varies on your location so you might want to confirm.
  14. if it was not so hood I would stop over.
  15. cool glad it worked for all involved
  16. just shitty seeing the pics from the last week as he got that engine fresh and now it looks like that.
  17. wow....wow.... Im guessing bill lutz insures it and since marks looks to be fine. I bet he has it back together quick. I know lutz pays quick
  18. Ive got a pretty much brand new 3.73 8.8 set, believe its a richmond gear or ford racing set id have to check again. id let go for 105.00, we switched it to a 4.56
  19. Anyone going to this... having a hard time reading the signup info. Can you participate in the test and tune and event on friday only or do you have to be involved in both days?
  20. I'll look into the wastegate. Nothing bleeds off during the pass and I spray the lines and nothing leaks while sitting. I bought a mother tank and fill kit so I am good on that end. 50# tank is only 30 to fill at delile so over time this will save some money and be more convenient
  21. Yeah dont those get stupid expensive? There is one just sitting by the road on the corner of clark state rd and waggoner.
