  1. Were you OK with them calling the GXP "Laughable"? (That had to hurt. I like the GXP - must mean this new car is all that they say.
  2. I know the feeling - last fall I was doing the brakes on my 02 Suburban. I was trying to get the rear rotor off and it would not budge. I beat the piss out of it. I then got my mean on and gave it all I had. Nada. Then an idea hit me - I went into the cab and the parking brake was on. I released it and the freakin rotor fell off.
  3. ^^^^end of arguement^^^^
  4. Removed the spoiler? Welcome - I like the Cobalts but the high-rise spoiler has to go. They look much nicer with the low spoiler or no spoiler at all.
  5. Wow - I( want to see some track vids.
  6. I heard somewhere that tint can darken over time with A/C.
  7. I had mine done at quality - he might have done it - it is 1 piece. No problem with the rear defrost.
  8. This is not easy to do. I went this route and they wanted the VIN # of the car as well as make model and yr. I will say threaten to get your own financing - dealer can and will beat it. I work at Chase so I had a 6.19% 60 month loan on an 05 car. I got 5.75% from the dealer - and made them eat the $250 "doc charge" they tried to stuff me with at the table.
  9. *cough* Valentine's Day *cough*
  10. A) it can be done B) it does not have to be the mother - this is the only area I disagree with your statement It just so happens in my household I am the breadwinner but in other families the wife maybe the breadwinner and in that case the husband can stay home (and wear the vagina - just kidding). We just made a decision that 1 parent has to be home with the kids. Both of our families insisted it could not be done - none of them made it on one income. We have worked it out and now that the kids are into school full time my wife is working on a career to call her own. You can find her on the corner of Broad and High.
  11. Man I knew I should have become a cop.
  12. The ones who are saying "good riddance" don't get it. Competition is good for all of us. Do you really think Chevy would bring out a 600+ HP without a 600+ hp Viper or a Ford GT for that matter? This is not good news.
  13. I miss my 85 Fiero GT - it was a V6 with a 4 speed. Ran perfect and was spotless.
  14. A 228R on a 112LSA should have more lope than mine
  15. Here it is----->http://media.putfile.com/Idle---cammed-LS1
  16. You don't need a big cam to get the lope he is looking for - I will see if I can find the clip of mine
  17. You will need springs for any of the cams you are looking at. I would go bigger than the cam Brandon is suggesting - if you are going through the effort of changing the cam then why not get the power you want? I would not go as large as the MS3 or MS4. While they are street drivable the powerband moves into a range that you have to drive it like you stole it to get the power. You don't have to change the gearing in the rearend but the MS3/4 cam wants you to. If he wants an all around good car get a cam like the one I linked - Thunder Racing makes a 228R as well. Mine is a 222/222 on a 112 LSA. I would go a lottle bigger if I had it to do all over again but not much.
