  1. SWR workingman 400 and a 2X10 custom Avatar cabinet. I will eventually add a 2X15 or 4X12 but what I have now is more than enough for playing in church;)
  2. My other bass is an Ibanez SR505 - you cannot beat the sound for the price in my mind.
  3. I just asked the same question on LS1tech. I just want an inch or so drop not a Farkas. They said in that case I should be fine, H and R springs seem to be the way to go. On your car, I think a lighter gunmetal would look good. You could also go chrome for not much more than powder coating.
  4. Why are you here talking about this...get it!
  5. It is a Music Man Sting Ray 5. I fell in love with the pics of this bass in this color. It was a limited run and it is no longer made. The color is called "Cardinal Red Sparkle". I am sure some will hate it but i think it is amazing - pics do not do the color justice. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/30/umuvy3e7.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/30/upapegen.jpg From the ad: http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/30/qega8a7e.jpg I know there are some musicians on this board and know what they are looking at. This is one of those situations where you cannot understand why someone would pay so much for a particular car when you can get one that works as well for a lot less. And then you drive the more expensive car... The craftsmanship on this thing is amazing. Oh well I thought I would share.
  6. It was 200ish per window for the install, plus the price of the window which varies by size and options.
  7. This one is white :-) http://www.canepacollection.com/detail-1988-porsche-959-pearl_white-used-9178202.html
  8. Not white - but man do I love this one: http://www.canepacollection.com/detail-1997-porsche-911-turbo-used-11558159.html or even this one http://www.canepacollection.com/detail-1997-porsche-911-turbo-used-11558159.html

  10. Yeah, you would feel that
  11. I have a 2002 Suburban Z71 that I am about ready to trade in on another Suburban. It has been an awesome vehicle. I am just spoiled and want a newer one. It is at the bottom of the price range you are looking at but if you would be interested I can give you the details.
  12. I agree this is an apples to oranges comparison but it is still fun to watch. Good God the LS7 sounds amazing. If I had to drive it everyday I would take the GTR, though I have heard they are brutally stiff on the street. If I wanted a play toy, I would consider the Z/28 but then pass on it for a C7. I applaud GM for having the balls to do it but I am struggling coming up with the market for this car.
  13. I hope you are just talking install not including the window. If so then I got a good price.
  14. I ordered the windows - got a very solid estimate. A guy from my church and his son have a small local business installing windows. He subcontracts for many other window companies but recommends Polaris and would choose Polaris for his own home. Guy seems to be a good dude so we will see. Windows take 3 weeks to build and he will take 2 days to install after that. I will report back once installed. If he does a nice job he might be a good one to call. I thought the price was more than fair and he definitely has low overhead.
  15. Met with the guy again and am going to use him. Price is great and reviews on the windows are good. I will let you guys know how it goes.
  16. Getting ready to have some replacement windows installed in my home. My home was built in 1992 and the windows were crap when it was built and are worse now as you can imagine. I have a guy that goes to our church that I trust. He installs Polaris Windows. Any opinions or experience with this company? It is not one I had heard of but I admittedly don't travel in those circles. The online reviews look good.
  17. That's cool as it is VERY loud from the outside. I want mine to be loud outside but it usually becomes unbearable to drive everyday. I know - I am old - but I want to keep the comfort.
  18. Saw / heard it at lunch today....amazing. Is it loud inside? drone?
  19. I chickened out on the motor mounts and had IPS do them. I did the differential bushing myself and it is not bad, especially if you rent the tool that creative steel offers (I would not want to try to sawzall that bushing out of the aluminum carrier. Both made huge improvements in the car's overall feel but I didn't notice any difference in wheel hop though, in theory, the diff bushing should help some.
  20. I was adamant it was low enough stock, but hanging around with you guys makes me notice it could use a little drop. It is coming I just don't know if I will get that done this year.
  21. Yeah they are plastic but certain years they were black so I may look into those.
  22. I may be interested...the H & R springs are next in the list but we are having a ton of things done to the house this year and I need to get my daughter's truck fully operational so it may be a winter mod.
  23. I saw them but they are only 40-50 less than new. I think you only need the MM spacers if you want to go really low. I just want a 1" drop and was told the nivomat shocks won't prevent the 1" drop. I could be wrong.
  24. I have been kicking around what to do with the surrounds...it is cheap plastic so no powdercoat. Most just black them out along with the grills. I actually almost did the grills in the same color as the wheels but chickened out and went gloss black. I am going to throw some laminix tint on the headlights / driving lights to see what i think of the look and, assuming I like it, then will have Kevin Clifford paint them in black / clearcoat like he did my T/A along with all of the other lights. When I do that I will take another look at the grill surrounds. Thanks for the compliments and ideas.
