Up for sale is my 67" Samsung DLP TV. It is a rear projection with an LED bulb. Works great with a great picture. We rearranged our great room and needed a flat screen to mount over the fireplace. It is light but huge...it is about 18" deep at it's widest spot. It is HD and 1080p It is model # HL67A750A1FXZA

Yeah it is hard for me to believe it is actually totaled and even harder to believe it is not worth fixing. Achbach is going to do a full estimate but it may take a few days to price all of the parts.

To be clear I am not the type that will "take advantage" of the situation but I don't want to get screwed. I should be "made whole".

I am not sure on why they think it is totalled...the fender is pushed into the driver door but the door is not damaged.

I am guessing first offer will be ~ 15k but I am hoping to get 17-18k. I can show I paid 19k for it < 2 years ago and put < 10k miles on it. The condition of the car should be evident to them. They want to settle any potential medical claim so I will use that to my advantage

Yeah really 2 options...take the money and consider a new toy at some point or buy it back, fix it, and keep it.

I had it towed to Achbach - talked to the owner and he said 95% chance it is totaled when they say "borderline". I may have some decisions to make soon

Well adjuster just called and labelled it "borderline total" and had it towed to a body shop of my choosing for an opinion. No discussion yet on what value they are using.

I can't decide whether I want them to total it or not... Adjuster is supposed to see it today or tonorrow

Trying to keep it all in perspective. No one hurt etc but hard to swallow seeing the V dragged on to a flatbed. Especially given I now have it like I wanted it...

Yes Scion TC. We were headed in opposite directions. She came left of center, I saw her and laid on the horn but she was not looking. She was looking at her phone. Interesting thing is my airbags did not go off but hers did. There was a small boy she was babysiuttuing in the backseat...thankfully he was wewaring a seatbelt and was ok. No idea if they will total it out or not...I am not sure what my next steps will be if totalled.

Mustang GT500 starts at 55k as well - 60k for the convertible. It will be interesting to see how the Challenger will stack up in ways other than straight line. I would suspect the Mustang and Camaro will handle better but clearly cannot currently match the 1/4 performance.
