  1. I have been kicking around selling this car for the last couple of years and the time has just come. I hate to sell it but I want to use the money to pay off my other car and my camper which will give me more flexibility in my personal life. Enough about me...about the car: I have owned the car since early 2004. I am the 2nd owner and it had 8000 miles on it when I bought it. It was completely stock down to the paper filter. It is a true WS6 and has about 45,000 miles on it now. It has always been garaged and has not seen snow in years, rain only when I cannot resist driving it to a show and get caught out and about. It is a fully optioned 6 speed. I have changed the oil every 3,000 miles with Mobil 1 since the day I bought it. Highlight of mods (note: I have almost all of the stock parts that will go with the car) Appearance Modifications: 17x9.5 front, 17x11 rear Chrome ZR1 replicas 35% tint all around professionally tinted rear tails, front parking, and marker lights (clear coat with tinit) Moldings / badges removed Performance Modifications: MTI C1 "Hammer Cam" - 222/222 .563/.563 112 LSA Comp Cams valve springs Thunder racing pushrods Corsa cat back exhaust (all stainless) Hooker longtube headers and offroad y-pipe Suspension: Hotchkis lowering springs UMI tubular lower control arms UMI subframe connectors It dyno'd at 384 RWHP and 381 RWTQ It is the original motor and the heads have never been off of the car. I put a new clutch in it < 10K miles ago. It has won many awards in shows including a "Best Firebird / Trans Am" award at the Arthritis Foundation show last year. I don't think you will find many nicer. Needs: Front rotors turned or replaced- they are warped so they vibrate under braking Small crack in the driver's side interior door panel (~1" long) - standard F-body problem Small hole in the carpet near the gas pedal I am asking $15,750 but will consider reasonable offers of course (no trades). A value is always hard to put on this type of car but there are 2 on autotrader right now locally for $16,995 that I am certain are not as nice as this one. Let me know if you have any questions. Here is a pic from late last year (I will take more once the weather cooperates) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v96/casey02ws6/IMG_5748copy_web.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v96/casey02ws6/Car%20pix/DSC_0328a.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v96/casey02ws6/Car%20pix/DSC_0321a.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v96/casey02ws6/Car%20pix/DSC_0327a.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v96/casey02ws6/Car%20pix/DSC_0324a.jpg
  2. For what it is worth I lost my 99 Grand Prix the same way....parked it and 30 minutes later it burnt to the ground. Bad valve cover gasket. Miss that car.
  3. just want to sting them not mortally wound them - lol. It is a church event after all
  4. Lol...just because we go to church doesn't mean we can't have fun. It is a great opportunity to bond with the kids of the church...we do lots of fun events to keep their interest. I will check what ammo size they are using.
  5. All - Have an event coming up at church (Man Camp) where it will be all of the adult guys versus the high and middle school boys in an air soft war. The church has some guns to borrow but I have been warned I am going to get toasted by the kids with one of the church's guns. So, I need to pick a gun up soon but have no idea where to start. It must be electric or spring - cannot be the gas cartridge versions. I am looking to spend about $100 - any ideas / recommendations? Anyone have one they want to sell?
  6. I think you are giving him too much credit by calling what he does spelling
  7. If it is nice I will be in to watch
  8. Always concerned when someone asks for gun advice ASAP! Don't go postal man...
  9. Who are the members in a GM Service Shop? My 2002 Suburban has the intermittent ABS activation problem that I am sure is tied to the recall issued in 2005. I just don't want to have to argue with them that it is covered. If not covered I will just do it myself.
  10. Scott - It is cool to see someone doing all the work themselves and learning in the process. I had read a lot about these cars but had no experience working on them. Thankfully, through the people I met here and on COFBA (RIP) I have done all of the work on my car. I was not like you though, knowing that I had no idea how to do it on my own I had a couple of guys over to help / supervise. The memory of hearing my car fire up the first time after tearing it down for the cam and headers still gives me goose bumps. Keep up the good work. Note of advice: do not take it to the track before it is done. You will end up breaking it then "patching it" (wasting money) so you can drive it until you have the funds to fix it right. I am at a point on mine where, even though I love to take it to the track, I know there are a few things I have to do before that makes sense (9" at least). If I take it before then it is likely that either I will break it or be disappointed in the numbers it will run since I am not running it hard.
  11. Lol - I know right...total fail. Wouldn't trade her for anyone though. My car is another matter entirely.
  12. Hmmmm...want yes. Need...probably not. Let me know what the deal is and I may raid the savings account.
  13. You mean girlfriend right? Marriage has a way of drastically reducing the chance of a blow job ;-)
  14. I have a 67" Samsung LED DLP - I get compliments all of the time on picture. Could not be happier.
  15. I know mine is louder and I have never had a problem. Agreed - tell them to piss off.
  16. Registratio is 9-12 - you will probably want to be there earlier. I have to go to church this morning but will come up after.
  17. I am planning on dragging my heap there

Giving to much oral sex to your male friends?
  20. Did you watch the game? Certainly was not Ben - he was on for sure - threw for nearly 300 yards - Willie ran for just under 100. They had no business losing that game. Congrats Cincy fans - they did not fold like a lawn chair at the first hint of adversity like they have in the past. That is the biggest positive you guys should take from the game. They have always had talent. Just like the Chicago game the Steelers were guilty of playing Tressel ball - playing not to lose. You have to score TDs not FGs.
  21. I have been a few times - it is a good show. May have to make it out have not had the car out in a long while.
  22. Look in the dictionary under "Movies you thought you would hate" and I am certain you will find the Notebook. another vote for Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium Stick It
  23. I have Hotchkis and love them for the street - the track? well we all know it has been a while since I have been to the track but seemed to work fine ;-)
