I lost power when I descreened mine, gained it back when I put a screened MAF back in. I trapped 118-120 with 399/379

I only broke mine down to the more major components because I didn't have replacement gaskets. Didn't want to take the chance of ruining one and not being able to get it back together.

I'm trying to contribute..... I REALLY like the Cayman but it's more pointless than my Camaro was.

I had an old tractor that had a gummed up carb. I took it off and sealed it in a bucket of gas for a few days. It worked good enough after but never was "right". A buddy helped me rebuild it properly and it ran like a top after that. Try soaking it sealed in a container of gas for a few days and see if it'll work well enough for ya, otherwise you'll need to completely disassemble and rebuilt it.

I really want a V but christ I'm too cheap to pay 40+ on a car that will end up spending 99% of it's life in a garage. I don't want another modded to hell toy either and nothing out there is really catching my eye. I'm going to keep looking though, we'll see what ends up in the driveway.

it is bad if you compare that to the ~$1200 deals you can find on used 12 bolts on LS1tech if you are patient.

That is possible. From all the pis I could scour on google, none of them caught my eye as much as the A4 did, but that does look close. I looked for any badging on the car and saw none except what was painted on the caliper. Wasn't sure if it was an attempt at being cool by a previous owner or what.

I get that, but if you read, the front did NOT look like that. It looked more like the A4 posted in my OP. It didn't have that giant black grille swallowing the entire front.
