  1. Price == $1300 I'm giving it away at this price. Get it out of my driveway.... Buy it for a fun beater. Buy it for a fun project car. Buy it to Auto-x. Buy it to Drag race. Buy it for the motor, junk the shell. (the motor and Hasport mounts would run you 1600 w/o shipping from hmotorsonline.com) Buy it to be AWESOME. I posted this up a while ago for $2000... but right now I'm looking for a rediculously quick, hassle free, cash sale. I've had quite a few offers, had quite a few flakes, quite a few people not come up to see the car after I have driven up to meet them.

  3. Motor is mechanically sound, but it develops a misfire after it warms up. Purchased with a suspicion of a distributor problem, but I could not invest enough time to determine the root cause. As much as I love hatchbacks and Honda's, I don't have the time for it. My project DSM > my project CRX Possible fixes - coolant temp sensor, o2 sensor, new ecu, modding wiring harness... etc etc The car was in the process being built for one of the NASA Honda challenges, by the previous owner. He ran into some financial difficulties from a nagging divorce, and I took over the project thinking I would have some time to invest, into making it a daily driver for a short ~10 mile commute. I focused a great deal of my spring/summer working on my DSM and didn't have the motivation to dig deeper into the car. It has both door panels, a passenger seat, and maybe a rear seat (i'm not completely sure of it). '89 CRX JDM b16a1 motor dc sports header homemade 2.5" exhaust no hvac no radio no carpet common rust spots 2 Si wheels in the front, bald tires 2 stock crx wheels in the back, good tread 2 seats top half a dash and door panels rear storage compartment The car has a new distributor, plugs, and wires. Since I bought the car in March, it has been driven a couple times around the block and 35 miles to my parents home just south of Cleveland (medina area). OMG,

You should think about doing 'all that safety stuff' for the street. I'd say you'd have a better chance of rolling that car over on a highspeed highway run with the possibility of traffic, bumps, potholes, bad drivers, and curves. Then you have the option of calling out anyone you want at the track, and not get hassled for racing in a safer environment. Be safe, not sorry.
  5. Paypal columbusdsm@hotmail.com Tym Switzer is just ensuring that the event will happen regardless if of hitting our projected quota. You can still sign up and pay, there are theorectically 3-4 spots left.
  6. i'm one of two imports that decided to show up, this should be fun
  7. They have a race gas pump at the track, I believe it dishes out Sunoco 110. But you'd probably save a few bucks just picking it up locally, if you don't mind driving with about 5-10 gallons of fuel in your hatch for the 2hr drive.
  8. DEADLINE: May 3rd If we do not have at least 25 people signed up for the event, it will be cancelled.
  9. only one z06 signed up for COFBA's track day, question mark
  10. Advertising/Marketing divisions smile when they see you make fun of them... http://iweb.alpine-usa.com:7777/html/adc/adc_main.html you're only 2 years late, though
  11. NO. graemlins/slap.gif
  12. We are working on a cut-off date before we will be forced to cancel it. Hopefully, enough people will sign up and it won't come to that.
  13. alignment, different launching technique, changing tire pressure, and do this http://www.raktron.com/misc/mt.htm Better take it easy or you're next post will be "WTB tranny"
  14. I'd never seen so many cars with front mount intercoolers run 13's or even better yet 14's. Missing 2nd gear was a plague. The car that burnt down was from Showdown Motorsports, located in Toledo. I don't think I would wish that on my worst enemy.
  15. interesting trades but i'm really just looking for a straight up cash money. I'm selling this at a lost because my time and money is being spent with my DSM project.
  16. $1500 straight up, no dealing. get it out of my parent's driveway
  17. he has decided to part out the car. The remaining parts unaccounted for.... FP Sleeper 16g $650 550cc injectors $175 If you're interested in the car itself put back to stock make him an offer.
  18. stealthmonkey, Thanks for blowing up the thread. The car is priced to sell at $3k, sorry if you feel otherwise.
  19. posting for a friend -- 1990 Laser RS-T $3000 http://www.columbusdsm.com/luong88888/laser.JPG Mods: FP Sleeper 16g PTT Street FMIC 550's Walbro 255 BR AFPR S-AFC 2g MAF w/intake Centerforce Clutch Boost, a/f, and EGT gauges Ported exh manifold/dumped O2 housing. 3" cat back, 2.5"DP Kyb AGX/Eibach Pro-Kit suspension. The car itself is very clean, save for the peeling clearcoat. Southern car, no rust whatsoever, and the interior is complete and in very good condition, 153k miles on the pig. Motor has 155psi + compression across the board. As I said, I would prefer to sell the car complete, and it is one of the fastest FWD DSM's in the area. It traps 112mph on pump gas, and is a wicked ride on the highway with the wick turned up. Contact Rich Gaskey 1-440-915-6680 [mention CR and Mike Luong] [ 04. 20. I replaced the distributor, wires, and plugs to no avial. I bought the car last march and probably put about 4 hours into the car. Civicpowered, I think I've met you at Jegs before. I rock the DSM, but I always end up talking to the Honda guys. Your CRX is red, correct?
  21. i have transported it 35 miles while experiencing some problems once it got warmed up. The misfire can get severe, but it's not completely devastating.
  22. I believe it has the PR3 ecu. I've never checked if it was throwing codes. Correct me if I'm wrong, but is that one has an LED on the ecu itself? I honestly don't have time for this thing or else I would just put a weekend into the car to get it running right and beat the shit out of it at the track and auto-x's. I'll reiterate.... project DSM, EE degree, job search > project CRX 120 miles away somebody pick it up, you won't be dissapointed
