Now that my daily is down (but not gone, still for sale) I'm looking for a new ride. Here's kind of what I'm looking for: DSM, black or grey, 5spd, AWD, good mechanically, running (or VERY close to it)~$3K Supra, black or grey, 5spd, decent condition, running (or VERY close to it), ~$3K Acura Legend, Black or grey, Auto, Good condition, running, no major problems, ~$4K Lexus SC400, black or grey, Auto, good condition, running, no major mechanical problems, $4K - $5K Subaru, any model, sedan or coupe (no wagon), black or grey, AWD, running good, $3K -$4K If I didn't list a trait I'm looking for, then it's optional. Otherwise, it's required. The prices next to them are the range I'm willing to spend on one. I would like it to be within a couple of hours drive from zip 45420. I'm not being lazy, I'm being cheap. I also want a factory turbocharged engine, not a 302. If I really wanted a 302, I would go and pick up a 5.0 mustang Anyhow, back to looking for a 7MGTE.

yeah, but my car was never made for a 302. I would have to custom make a lot of stuff, including bellhousing, motormounts, probably headers, etc. Not in my budget. Chris.

definitely out of my budget. And if I were putting a V8 in it, it would be a Lexus one...mmmm...all aluminum V8...twin turbo...mmmm....

I'm looking for an engine for my project car. It's an 89 Turbo Supra. I'm not picky. I'm looking for a cheap engine (full engine) with problems for a full rebuild. Looking to buy ASAP. Please let me know. Thanks. Chris.

OK guys. My car is still for sale, but now there's a catch. I wrecked the car (not at fault, a girl pulled out in front of me when she wasn't supposed to) and now the insurance company totaled it. There's not even that much damage, just some body stuff. Unfortunately, the insurance company's quote of $3700 (they're always too high) for body work and they decided it wasn't worth it. So, long story short, the car is for sale as is. If I don't get a buyer in a couple of weeks, I will part the car out. The car still runs...in fact, the car runs and drives great. it will need a front bumper, fender, hood, front driver's signal, crash bumper, and some paint. I have a couple of pictures of the damage which will show what I'm talking about. Price is $1000! The car will have a salvage title tomorrow or Monday, and will be for sale Monday evening. You may come just about any time this weekend to test drive the car. Interested buyers only. Car will need to be inspected (after repairs) to claim a rebuilt title, or make it a track car, or part it and make your DSM monster. Car is wrecked, and it's probably going to be totaled. Car is still 100% drivable, just looks bad. Keep an eye out for a part out thread. Chris.
