The bumper is an easy "fix" just unbolt the pre made spacers and bolt the bumper back in the stock position. Oddly enough the check engine light is not on. The ABS sensor wire was damaged when the lift was added, the brakes work normaly but the ABS light stays on. It's a 12 inch cable that can be replaced simply enough.

I think he took it in to the dealer, not sure which sensor it needs. The little spot you see on the grill is a temp probe for the rear view mirror mounted thermometer. The front bumper is currently mounted on spacers to accomodate 33 inch tires which are no longer on the truck.

I would call them performance generic : -). NTB sells them for 100 bucks a piece, so not top of the line but still decent.

You can see the feathering in the coin picture, that's the extent of it. I took a picture of the patch but you can't see it since the tire and patch share the same lovely shade of black

The girlfriend went to a stickier rain tire on her bimmer, her old tires have 85% tread left. The tires have feathering on the rears from a bad alignment so they do make some noise at highway speeds. One tire was run low and has some abbrasion on the inner sidewall as a result. The same tire has a plug, it was done properly with a combo plug patch from the inside and it holds air fine. I'm located in whitehall OH. Yes, 142K on the car. I don't know if the coil pack has been replaced. Why don't you come have a look at the car? I'm not working this afternoon, I was planning of going skiing tonight but I can stay home if you're interested.

The new cluster had (and still has) 116K, sorry if I worded that bit poorly.

The weef says I'm not allowed to have more than 3 cars and I certainly can't part with any of the scirocco's so the Jetta has to go. I put together a hybrid transmission with a CCM (vr6) case and a 16v passat gearset and final drive. The combination of the lower final drive (3.94) and close ratios make it tons of fun to drive. Here are the specs: The car had 142k on the odometer when I bought it but the spedo and tach were both nonfunctional so I replaced the cluster, it now reads 116k. - VR-6 5-spd - all new ball joints and tie rod ends - new transmission seals - new water pump - new upper strut mounts - 15" speedline wheels with 85% tread on the tires - H&R sport springs - Sony flip face CD player - leather heated seats - moonroof The seats are in good shape with no tears and just the normal creases. The car has been repainted at some point and the paint is not perfect, it has plenty of scratches and swirls. The passnger side window regulator needs to be replaced. The vehicle came with an aftermarket canister style muffler and JSP carbon fiber splitters... not quite my style but someone might love them. I'm located in whitehall, about 2 mins from speeds.
