I realized today driving the car how much i hate the clutch that's in it. haha i had the same issue on my car also except with the PS line, they guy sent really thin crush washers and they were a little big and they just stretched causing the fluid to leak. BTW the VW sounded good Friday night when you had it out. to get the sub frame in the far what i did was put a transmission jack on the middle on the diff, and then put two regular jack by the arms and lifted it up. transmission jack in the middle was just to stabilize it because with the other 2 jacks on both side it could still move forward and back. http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/photos/39100-39199/39178.gif thats the transmission jack i used.

Well got my car all done and finaly drove it. went to get a alignment and i coudlnt get on the rack, had to go home and raise the car. once i did that i found out my wheel bearing is shot on my right rear. yay more fun shit i have to do.

I have a emachine down stairs some where, ill check the model number when im back home and let you know what it is.

yea there's a good amount of low ballers on there but there's a select few members that are not that bad.

Im sure brooks will be at everything if he can along with me, he usually is on my 2 car trailer or chris is. As far as i know chris picked up his car sunday from forced fab and hes planning on being out and about as much as possible.

I do most events at kilkare as were sponsoring them to run (were as in Ohiodrifting.com) but i will be doing a few events at beaver run, few events in Camden ohio at the cart track, Probably 1-2 in Indy at their new airport, 1 at drift a palooza which will be at the mansfield airfield as they will be teaming up with Red bull air race and maby a event in PA at the oval.

Thanks the car is a 2008 Mazdaspeed3, being turbo from the factory i would assume they would run synthetics in the car but knowing how company's like to save money they probably put conventional oil in it.

Ok well some of you know I recently purchased a car and i saw the thread above about synthetic oil changes and i got to thinking what kinda oil change schedule i should be doing on my car, car just went over 1,1xx miles and i was kinda planning on doing a oil change at 1500 miles with standard oil (probably castrol GTX because its what i got and use in all the other cars) and then once the car is at 3,000 miles doing a oil change with synthetics probably Eneos oil or Amsoil. What is the normal recommended schedule for a brand new car? if I do the schedule im planning will it be ok? this is my first brand new car and i just wanna make sure im doing it correct.

I completly agree with sam here, We originaly started out with a f250 with the 5.4V8 and it seemed to struggle with our 2 car trailer with just 1 car on it. (trailer weighs 4,xxx LBS car was a gutted 86 Toyota corolla) it would work fine but the truck just didnt like accelerating nor braking at all. we upgraded to a 02 F250 with the 7.3L TD and this truck pulls the 2 car trailer with my SC300 on it + any other car + 3 sets of wheels tires, Tent, tools, and anything i need for my events without struggling at all, not to mention it gets great fuel millage doing so.

So small update for today just getting some things buttoned up finally, I ordered some new poly steering rack bushings today along with ordering Memory fab rails. Also my Subframe should be done tomorrow and ill go pick it up. bushings are made just needed pressed into the sub frame. WoooooT!

So they said they would find me the keys and owners manual and i still have yet to see it.

Well i finally got around to taking pics of my new DD even thought some of you guys have seen it. Car is a Pearl white 2008.5 Mazdaspeed3. everything is completely stock and will probably remain so with exception of a new BOV and CAI kit for the car. I have a 4 inch tip but my exhaust piping is also 4 inches,

buy it, replace every part on the car and then have fun with it. i had a 97 VW golf and it was the biggest POS ive ever owned. after owning that car i will never own another VW.

I bet if you talk to him hell tell you how Drift king he is. I talked to some kid that was "drifting" while it was snowing out and he said hes been drifting for a few years at Kil-Kare and i looked at him and said really? Ive been to every drift event they hosted for the last 5 years and Ive never seen you there. Its amazing how fast the story changes when they are busted.
