So some bad luck, my fuel rail is not the correct one for my motor. it will fit jzx100 1jz, jzx110 1jz, and jzz30 VVTI 1jz.so gay. none of the mouning points come close or even the correct angle. turns out SARD doesn't even offer a fuel rail for my 1jz. not sure why the mounting on the chaser and mark II are different then mine but its no where close. in other news ive been buying a bunch of stuff. im removing the stock OEM oil cooler in favor of an aftermarket. yea looking at the pictures it looks bent but its all in good shape its just the way it was sitting in the pictures. before i put the head on it was all flat.

yea its a mazdaspeed 3 with CPE 3 pod gauge pod and STRI gauges.

Thanks, It is a gates racing best bang for the buck imo head was machined flat but the bottom end was not. bottom end was pretty flat and didnt see it necessary at this point since its still a stock bottom end. If i do have sealing issues then i will be getting a new bottom end plus getting it built. jasen that's the one thing im really worried about but I guess we will go across that bridge when we get there. chances are if i do have a issue ill end up having a custom manifold made for me but untill then just got to see what happens.

finally my head gasket and got to working. swapped the upper and lower oil pans, swapped oil pump, put the headgasket on head on and torqued it all down, put the cams on and got them set into timing, i just need to degree the cams in and get it set. valve covers are at slowmo getting -10 AN bungs welded to it. turbo will be in next week around Wednesday. Just a few more things to get and ill get the car all buttoned up. alright guys, ARP studs came in finally just waiting on the head gasket to come in, fuel rail to come in and then AFPR. i still need to buy my injectors and wire them up but i went ahaid and purchased the last and most expensive item. TURBO!!!!! its a T4, DBB and the smallest twin scroll produced by garrett. let the guessing games begin!
