    for anyone considering this, you can replace the timing belt and instantly do a compression test to check(saves you time from reassembling all the accessories and covers if the motors trashed).

    It should also be noted that the last 98-00 4cyl one i saw break a timing belt ended up bending valves due to the vct(variable cam timing) selenoid attempting to advance the cam as the belt was shredding.

    I'll be the first to ask... shouldnt a light ass lsx car be trapping better than 106mph? I mean stockish fbodies do that with probably 400 more pounds. Whatd your setup put down to the wheels?
