  1. thanks for the support guys.. vacations half over..
  2. I decided the other day after taking the store manager position a year ago, the amount of stress put on my daily life wasn't quite worth the extra pay. Therefore, I talked it over with the wife and stepped down last week, but am remaining the service manager there. I'm on vacation this week and can still help remotely, but as always if you ever need anything don't hesitate to call. Derek- 232-8881 work 256-4040 cell
  3. allegedly my ass... we got drunk as shit the night before i'm drinking a whole 5th of jim beam with sour mix http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=542&pictureid=4534 then i make said fast pass in the car..with a carb we bolted on the night before from scott(buckeye) open differential with slicks http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=542&pictureid=5592 thats right a 1.78 60' with an open diff.... some of you bishes with lsd rears can't pull off that shit. a matter of fact I think if Brian drove the unicorn with me and linn as passengers we might actully go back in time it would be so fast down the 1/4 lol

  7. check your size and repost, sure its not a 16" rim?
  8. <----blushing looking forward to it man.
  9. Don't sweat it, stores seem to earn they're own rep even having the same name on the front.
  10. Not completely, I trust that you've assembled plenty of struts over the years as have I. There are plenty of them that have 2 and 3 washer that go in different places, above and below dust boots, under and over mounts or bearings. So its not as simple as saying tire/wheel, or ball joint/ knuckle where there are only 2 parts and one way it can go back together. also.. seve-o, did you get them apart without using a spring compressor? Next time if anyone is thinking of having a shop do this kind of work, take them a complete assembly.
  11. from an NTB standpoint.. they shouldnt have even been doing anything like that with loose parts. if and when i have in my store its been on a "help out" basis and I wouldnt have taken on the ...heres my parts put them all back together even though you dont know how or in what order they came apart task. that being said, they took on the task feeling they could do it and something got stripped i dont see why they didnt run a die over it and clean up the threads. all ntb's are not created equal, but people do make mistakes, even the good ones, its just what they do to fix the problem.
  12. sexy doesnt begin to describe what he looks like in a flannel.. Id say hot bod of the year!
  13. after a norwalk track day, i put 250 miles on the car and found the rear end leaking... it looked like someone shot buckshot from the inside out of my rear end. http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e91/Turborust/myteeth.jpg
  14. call tomorrow and ask for Dave 899-5110
  15. I simply edited the unneeded shit talking in my post, it was unneeded. In the end wheel.medic.is.refunding us for the repair, and we are getting josh a new wheel.. Vinny no need for a pissing match but are you going to tell me dismounting, patching a tire and remount/balance will take the same amount of time and effort on A Tempo A truck tire A performance tire?
  16. I said some things about wheel medic that i shouldn't have from the get go without talking to the boss man.. they are going to do what it takes to fix this
  17. Facts. -it was my store -we chipped the wheel -I sent the wheel to wheel medic, as we have 100 wheels in the past. -4 visits later and 1 pissed off customer and i'm buying a new bmw wheel because wheel medics inability to refinish a wheel back to factory -i'm not sure who their new management is, but I dont care for them. Tomorrow they will have the option to split the wheel with me. -flat repairs on 265-35-19's arent cheap for liability reason - I appreciate Josh not directly coming on here to bash me as he easily could have, but I'm not trying to hide from what has become a horrid situation. - I have plenty of positive feedback from the board but this is evidence that shit happens, i'm just pissed that my service manager Matt and I have been making countless excuses for wheel medic. Josh, we will be in touch by 930am as Matt told you today.. sorry again
