  1. The problem is, is that there is a hanger on the bottom also! I'm on my iPad right now or I would draw a picture to explain it better.

I'm gonna give moorespeed performance a call tomorrow or Monday for a quote hopefully it's a 15min fix that won't cost me much.

Any other places? I'm just sick of the noise

  2. So on the way home from WPAFB today I heard a weird ass loud pop all of a sudden while on an exit ramp, no noticeable changes in performance, nothing felt loose, and I wasn't flying away to heaven, so I kinda just disregarded it as a rock or something hitting the underbody. Well upon getting off 270 onto alum creek I'm able to hear that there is a nice hole in my F'ing exhaust. I couldn't tell when I was driving cuz I had the top off and all the windows down in the Sol.

Well I got home and jacked it up, to see where the hole is. Well the top hanger behind the resonator snapped off leaving a nice hole and an awful hillbilly sounding exhaust

My question is : are there any reputable shops that can patch/fix it for pretty cheap and quickly? I'm not looking for anything performance wise it's just the stock exhaust, so even cutting out that section and welding in a small piece is fine.

There is a place in Lancaster I used to use, recommended by my father-in-law, but after 2 shitty jobs I'm not going back. And Meineke on Brice did a horrible welding job on the exhaust on my crx, to the point it was leaking through holes in the weld :(

  3. just looked at intellicast and there is one cell that it about to hit chillicothe and is heading northeast. so it looks as tho it will hit the track but its moving quickly and i think that with the heat and the track crew, they can dry it off pretty quickly. im still heading out to spectate!

edit: if it does hit, it should just clip it and wont be severe at all

  4. i do all the work myself on my car, it saves the $80/hr labor charge! that way i also know its being done correct and IF something should go wrong i know its my fault. since i use only amsoil in my car i have to do it, but my wifes car basicly its just if there is anywhere that has a deal for 19.99 or less at the time they will get to do it otherwise i will do that one too.
  5. Also, from personal experience from working as a nurse in family practice, at your first visit you need to tell them everything that not only hurt currently but even things that did hurt. Because if you don't say it at that visit the ins co could come back and say " well you didn't complain about that then who's to say it's not from something else" and not pay. I told my patients, start from the top of your head and slowly work your way down and tell me everything that hurts and/or did hurt."
  6. these are still available. i am asking $375 each. if i dont hear from anyone they are going to pick n pull this coming weekend. please let me know if you are interested.
  7. I will say I HATE the front license plate law! But it did get my car back when it was stolen! Cop was driving by with the reader on and it picked up my front plate from the opposite side of the street! I even have the top and bottom of the plate bent behind it so its just the numbers showing and it still was able to read it.
