So I have a bunch of random building materials: Drywall, dimensional wood, and a patio door, extra moldings (crown, quarter, cool shit), etc. Does anyone just collect this shit and want it. I am more concerned about getting rid of it tomorrow. All or nothing. I need it out of my garage and Habitat doesn't take drywall as a donation.

Must pick up tomorrow (Tuesday) in Westerville.
-
Sold. Lock it up.

I don't actually know your real name so I haven't talked to him about the referral.

$125 is my bottom dollar. If I don't get that I'll just take it with me.

I hope you went with Jeff, he just got our house in contract in less than a month for 96% of asking. He negotiated like a fucking shark too. I couldn't be happier with this dude. He earned every cent of his commission.

In contract, that was fast. We settled at 96% of asking. Jeff Mahler is an awesome agent. JMahler1@gmail.com -

Who do we give our tire business to these days? Is there a tire shop that gives member discounts and supports CR?

I don't need it on the beach. It's 3 years old so it has patinaed a bit but it still looks good and shiny. Home Depot sells it for $300, I'll take $150.

Decoro top grain Italian leather sofa, full wood frame, 8 way hand tied springs. Color is deep brown. It shows no wear and is awesome. My wife took the pics with those awful pillows, it shows better without. You can have them if you want. It doesn't go with our new beach lifestyle so it has to go. If it isn't sold by Wednesday of next week it is heading south with me. Paid $1500 at cost directly from DeCoro, retail was $2500 $700

I cut off my manhood and went (95%) Vegan over a year ago. My cholesterol dropped 100 points in 3 months. I don't care so much about the feelings of animals just how they impact my body. It definitely isn't for everyone but it's working for me and my family.

Ha, you posted too soon.

The conversion to ICD-10 was decided by the Bush administration in 2008. Bush also delayed full implementation from 2012 to 2013 The actual codes are published by the WHO and are used in multiple countries in the world. ICD-9 is almost 30 years old and needed some updating. The numbers are a "bit" off too. There are currently about 13,000 codes, it is increasing to 68,000. His specialized practice will still use a small fraction of all those codes and be just fine after the initial learning curve. What the Long Term Care industry found is that the more specific codes actually allowed them to increase their overall reimbursement rate. My knowledge of CMS is limited to that industry but it may be the same in acute and preventive care. The Mammogram change is the result of a 15 year study that compared pros and cons of sub-50 mammograms. It is a recommendation put out by the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force, again separate from "Obamacare". Here is an article on the hype vs. reality: http://www.forbes.com/2009/11/19/mammogram-guidelines-cancer-business-healthcare-obamacare.html What's this doctors name? I'm not a fan of getting medical treatment from doctors who mix punditry with fact.

P.S. This podcast talks about incentivized savings accounts; an idea that address the dumb savings rates of poor people with their irrational expectation of hitting it big. I think you'd dig it. http://www.thisamericanlife.org/radio-archives/episode/461/take-the-money-and-run-for-office

I don't want to fight with you any more. Let's just be friends. Time will settle whether this law is good, bad or indifferent. One of us will get to come back to this thread in a few years and post "told ya so".

No. Read it again. You apparently have no idea how insurance works. I guarantee you have a significant number of fat smokers on your companies PPO policy. Yes, they pay more but you certainly don't believe that they pay enough to cover their costs. They difference between what they put in vs. the amount they cost is mitigated by the healthy people that don't utilize their policies. Are you advocating for the elimination of PPO policies too since they "spread the wealth around". The mandate has far less to do with covering the poor than it does getting the "young immortals" into the pool. It is their low risk dollars that decrease the overall risk for the rest of the pool. If you were opposed to that I could understand more so that your disproportionate outrage for a few free riders. I guess I just don't really spend that much time thinking about gross things. I get that your family is significantly more exposed to that demographic with your wife's occupation.... when you're a hammer everything is a nail.

Dude, you are so condescending. You know nothing about me; I was not the one with an issue. If either of us should do some drinking it's you, it might lubricate the stick in your ass. If you are like this in real life, I am telling you right now that everyone hates you; including your wife. Until 3 months ago I was the VP of a national recruiting firm; a job I left because I now consult for multiple companies and am moving to our beach house on the gulf coast. My wife also works remotely as the marketing director for 2 national companies. The issue we faced would have destroyed you and the little impenetrable security blankey you love to brag about. I was born on third too. Most people on this board were. To hold people accountable to the exact same standard you hold yourself you are presuming that they were exposed to the exact same experiences, opportunities and advantages that you were. There is a normal distribution curve associated with every variable that has allowed you to have the sense of security you have. Instead of being grateful for being on the right side of the bell curve for most of them, instead of being grateful for having not suffered a "perfect storm" or two you pat yourself on the back for being miles ahead of others who started the race in a broken wheelchair. Talking to you is like conversing with a 20 year old know it all who thinks they have the whole world figured out. Pride comes before a fall; I hope for your sake it is a plenty long while before you find that out.

People terminate contracts all the time. Just ask for a release. Threaten a bad review on Yelp/Angie's list/bbb if you get any pushback.
-
You were born on third and think you hit a tripple. You come accross like you've got the world all figured out. Really though you look at the world and say how it aught to work while ignoring how it actually does. You should be proud of yourself for the security you've created; you obviously are. But don't pretend that everyone is dealt the same hand. Life doesnt happen in a vaccumm. Don't ever forget that some who you disparage would have played your particular hand even better than you have.

I fired mine 30 days in to a 6 mo contract.

I just fired the list on MLS and wait type. I hired Jeff Mahler from Keller Williams looking for exactly what you seek. He aggressively sold my friend's house quite quickly and was great. He's been super on top of it with us so far. Jmahler1@gmail.com (614) 832-7139 I wont get anything for it but you can tell him Ken from Frenchpark said so.

You obviously have a lot of emotion invested in your viewpoint and you are entitled to it. The "let them rot" mentality is that of third world nations and I believe we, as a civilization, are better than that. This is a fundamental difference that we will never agree on. So it goes. It is easy to see the world it black and white; it simplifies the complex, shrinking it into tiny little bumper-sticker slogans. It is a luxury to never have to consider the unintended consequences. I suspect one sleeps easier at night believing all answers are either ones or a zeros.
