  1. my 1900 sqft house built in 76 with original heat pump punishes me with a $350-$400 bill a month with the thermostat set at 65

just put a programable thermostat on so during the day it settles around 62 when I'm gone then 62 again while I sleep. Its also setup to avoid using aux heat as much...

  2. environmentally friendly? isn't most electricity still generated by coal plants? looks like he is from oregon where they generate 40% of their electricity from coal.

charge that thing in ohio and its being powered by 86% coal

  4. I have a coworker with a 1999 Mustang GT that's fuel pump gave out.

Can anyone recommend a shop other than a dealer that would/could replace it?

It will have to be towed. We called around Westerville and everyone is saying dealer only.

  5. i should get this remote start for my camaro. i could use the trunk button to activate 2 solenoids to pop the transmission into neutral and trip a relay to bypass the clutch switch.....hmmmm.....

    That sounds way too hard.

Most new DEI systems are capable of working on a manual transmission. They work kinda like an alarm. You do a routine that the system expects which is something like-- e-brake on while holding the brake pedal, pushing the r/s button to send the car into valet take over mode (remove your key,) then you open the door- close the door and lock. Which then the car responds to by shutting down. As long as the vehicle's current state is maintained (ie stays locked and the e-break up) it will r/s again.

really its only an extra relay for the clutch and door triggers for a r/s

  6. I dont have cable and have been picking up tv using a flat digital antenna for a while. In the last 2 weeks fox suddenly disappeared. Is it just me?

maybe I need a new antenna but all the other channels are fine!

I've looked around online and didn't really find anything.

I'm missing all the good cartoons.

  7. Are those HUD homes only?

Yup, but not all of them are terrible in condition.

We almost put an offer on a hud house that was built 2 years ago in blacklick that was in great condition.

    - it needed interior painting and carpet

The drive to work was too far - otherwise it would have been a great deal!

The house ended up going into contract the next day for 110k even though it originally was purchased for 230k 2 years ago.

We ended up buying a hud house that was listed wrong (listed as columbus schools but really in Westerville schools) and turned it into the house we wanted by updating everything.

all of our leads were from the hud site (nhmsi) it updates every week in the first hour of friday.
