Well, I just recently had my computer restored because Windows had apparantly had a fatal error. I lost my entire hard drive and what not, and now I'm redownloading what I want, etc. But trying to play videos and songs and such, I've found that my sound isn't working. The plugs are all in correctly, and when checking the control panel, it doesn't even register and sound device, even though I have a 3-piece speaker system hooked up correctly. Anyone know why it'd doing that and/or how to fix it?

He lives. Those numbers might make an interesting race. We need to set somethin up.

Sumitomo HTR+'s look very good from www.tirerack.com, though I don't have any personal experience with them. I have the BFG Comp T/A KDWS all-season tires and my car performed EXCELLENT in the rain and tolerable in the snow (but I mean cmon, a 500hp RWD). I highly recommend them, but I would've gotten the HTR+'s had they been available in my size.

5 of the top 6 are stangs? What's that all about? Anyone wanna lend me $6k so I can take #1 (until Scott's numbers go on anyways). By the way, Mark, while you're updating, I "no longer" have my '01, it's an '03.

A lot of guys with 99+ GT's are going with 4.10's over 3.73's. It's the prime choice for N/A 1/4 drag racing. But if it were me and my daily driver and I may possibly be going FI, it'd defitely be 3.73's.

I'm gonna order mine online from www.steeda.com. While mainly for 'Stangs and Focus', you can order the Nitto's there for like $150 a piece and Steeda is always good about shipping.

No problem. I already decided to leave him on the list in a previous post. If he asks to be removed then I'll do it, of course. Since it's not a racing list, I don't have a problem with leaving "old" dyno numbers up until he gets a new ride. On the next update, I'll go ahead and replace your old Cobra's listing with your new numbers, if that's what you want. Couple of things about the list. First of all - LOOK AT THAT TOP 5! 4 POS FORD'S! What's up with that? And second of all, not trying to be rude at all, but considering the fact that More Cylinders Than You no longer has his Viper (sadly), should his numbers be taken off the list? Well, I'm set on the Nitto's, but now this RII thing your talkin about Joe has got me interested. So your saying it's supposed to perform just as good as the Nitto's, just with a stifer sidewall? And forgive me for being naive when it comes to mechanics, but what does having a stifer sidewall accomplish?

I'll agree with the above. If your looking for a drag racing DR, go with the BFG's. If your looking for a daily driver with some extra hooking ability, go with the Nitto's for the extra tread life. By the way, Sam. Since you've driven around in Nittos, how exactly are they in the rain? Their website said they are good, but i've heard from other people they suck in the rain...what's your opinion? I'm looking to slap a pair on this spring.

Hey Matt, just let a couple of us drive your car and see if the same thing happens. Then we can look at the options. Not doubting your skills as a manual driver, but ya never know.
