while a narrow gun is nice, if you get to be too narrow, it can be a PITA on your hands. my M&P is 1.25" wide, i shoot it fine. with my keltec, thats ~.8" wide, it is a lot easier to conceal, but after a few mags, the part of my hand between my thumb and pointer finger can hurt a bit

yeah, gander mountain can suck a dick. i used to work there and wrote corporate that their new price match is a bunch of BS. when i was there, it was first double the discount, then they did price match and took 10% off, now its just a match. i went to look at a kahr, it was $130 more there than vances. fuck that. vances will have the best prices in columbus, if not ohio. they buy so many damn guns, they get the best deals.

even if it does go up to 2$/gal, im not going to be upset. when it skyrocketed, i said i'd be happy with gas at 2.00-2.25/gal. this now is just an added bonus being sub-1.60.

my dad's place got broken into a while ago, stole his laptop. his insurance said they'd either give him value of his stolen laptop (100 bucks or so), or if he went and bought something new, they'd reimburse him for whatever he got. he got the macbook air. im not a mac person but he seems to like it.

figures. i told you i filled up for 1.75 about an hour before that post, i left shortly after and passed by the same speedway and they dropped it down to 1.569. mother fuckers. not even 2 hours later dropped 20 cents.

the only place i saw go up was speedway. yesterday, we drove from my apartment in blacklick to my g/fs grandparents near shrock/karl. on the trip, i passed 12 gas stations, 4 were speedways, and all were under 1.60 except speedway, which were all at 1.75. then today i see a couple small individually owned went up to 1.69, but it was only one thats near speedway. i ended up going to speedway because i had a gift card from work. oh well. free gas

i was about to stop and see if everything was cool but by the time i realized it was your car (seeing the front end) i was already past the 270/easton split.

my 870 is getting to the point its so old, im just ready to replace it with a new one. hopefully you wont have any issues with the shell stop on that gun. ive shot 2 different mossy's that had the same problem. maybe i'll bust out my 870 and we can get a group to go up to blackwing for some skeet or trap shooting.

i know the XD isnt "oh my god it took me an hour to disassemble" hard...maybe it was just that mine was new, and that flip up lever was stiff. with my g26, it was "move the slide back 1/8 inch, pull down 2 tabs, slide forward", same with the sigma. my M&P drop the mag, lock slide, flip lever down in chamber, slide forward.

you dont need a 45 for home protection, and you dont want an XD for "quick disassembly". i had the 9mm, and i had to bust out the book to figure out how to disassemble it. it wasn't quick. now you can go with something like a glock, or the knockoff S&W sigma, which you can take apart both in less than 5 seconds, my M&P is pretty easy to take apart, plus it comes with 3 different back straps so it can be changed to fit pretty much anyone who wants to shoot it. if its just for the night stand, dont drop a shitload of money. the XD's are ~450-500, M&Ps are about 400, but the sigma is the cheapest at ~$250 bucks new, it goes bang when you pull the trigger, the 9mm holds 17+1 IIRC, and its got a trigger thats pretty heavy, so it'll make you sure you're wanting to pull the trigger, instead of it accidentally going off. plus, theres a used one for sale on here somewhere
