thats why im confused...his court date for westerville was around the 2nd week of may, which i go no notice of...this letter says "westerville vs. him", not vice-versa

i dont believe he did...i was going NB in the center turn lane getting ready to turn left, and he pulled out from the east side of the road (across 2 NB lanes + the center turn) trying to go left when i t-boned him. they said since he didnt have right-of-way on a left hand turn, he was at fault. only thing involved was me and him.

so i was in the accident that totalled my car april 25...the other driver was found at fault by police, ticketed. his insurance company admitted fault after i made it clear i wasnt going to deal with any bullshit from them...at first, they were not going to do anything until the kid went to court and got an outcome. this was going to be ~2 weeks from the date i talked to his company, which was a week after the crash. fastforward to today. his insurance company already paid the big chunk of my car, my policy has paid my medical bills (which they will in turn collect from his once everything is done and over with and i settle out). today, i get a letter in the mail from the franklin county court, traffic division. it says "city of westerville vs. nathaniel XXXXXXXX" subpoena this subpoena is an official notice that the above named party must appear in court to testify as a witness" then date, time, courtroom, etc so i guess im curious as to why it would be westerville vs. him. westerville issued him the ticket, so i figured if he would contest it, it would be in their court, and either they find him guilty and he still pays or not guilty and they dump the case... im not sure why its in FCMC now. i guess i shouldnt be too worried since im just a witness, but it struck me off guard ideas?

part of the reason i didnt go was because its the 1st year for columbus. i went to chicago in 04 and 05, and both years, there were A LOT of cars, A LOT of people. theres always some rice, but there were a lot of nice cars, that anyone would appreciate. ill have to see if i can get a couple pics or if i have them posted somewhere else hell, i only did cleveland HIN once because it was like 1/3 cars, and 1/2 the people as chicago, in the same amount of space

i need it. in my line of work (collections), if im not there working, im not making a bonus check, which is where the real $ is...therefore, i dont take much time off. my new job gives me 152 hours of PTO per year, and will only pay out a max of 40 hours at the end of the year...meaning i need to take 14 days off throughout the year just to get down to 40 hours by dec 31. ugh

taking a nice vacation...havent really ever had a nice one since becoming an "adult" (18+)...me and the g/f went to NC with her parents and another family (like 8 of them with husb/wife, kids, his brother and g/f, and his parents), so having ~12 people in a beach house was decent, but not great this year i have 7/25-8/2 off and we're flying down to st. augustine beach on saturday afternoon, and not coming back until the following saturday night. my plans are deep sea fishing, drink beer on beach, fish off beach while drinking beer, fish off pier, drink more beer, maybe see a couple light houses, do a couple things she will like, and more beer on beach. only thing left to pay for is the rental car. already got about 3000-3500$ to blow on vacation if i want...probably wont, but its better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it, right? lol

how much of a hassle is it to sit at a stop for a minute or two, let them know you're not drinking, then go on your way? you obviously have intentions to drink, and are trying not to get busted.
