i just did front rotors/pads on my sisters '02 sunfire a couple weeks ago. if thats all she needs done, ill do it for 50$ this weekend. i didnt mess with the drums, so i dont want to try to mess with them IIRC, her rotors were 40$ for the pair, and the pads were like 25$

NTB on 256 pissed me off...how should I report it to corporate?
evan9381 replied to Nitrousbird's topic in Reviews
odd. i went in to NTB on stelzer by easton a couple weeks ago for an oil change, asked them to rotate the tires, and they did it for free (dont know if thats standard, i figured theyd charge me something), and i dont think i was there more than 30 minutes...sinclair/71 for an oil change (i know, simple), and no problems with them either...the one kevin is at in grove city and he swapped tires from one set of wheels to my new ones, and vice versa, for 20$ (8 tires unmounted/remounted total), and of course, derek always does me right when hes not too busy and i can make it down there. hell, we took the g/fs car to get the oil changed some time last summer at a jiffy lube type place. they noticed a nail in the sidewall...called derek at 130 (i think they closed at 3), and he said to bring it down. he put in a temporary plug to hold until we could get it to the dealership (still had warranty on tires) for no charge. i think ive been down to have something done w/ derek 5-6 times, and never any issues...only went to the other places because i didnt have time to get downtown, or he was too busy that day -
good reason for me to get off my ass and go take my CCW course

get to vances. was out this weekend, 100ct boxes at walmart went from 15.72 to almost 19$/box. dont remember exact change. 50ct was 8.62, i think its up to about 10.xx. this is for cheap-o WWB 9mm FMJ vances still has their sale going on thru 4/3/08, 9mm $8.99 for 10 or more .45acp = 12.99 for 10+ boxes

regardless, i feel the lineup last year was far superior to this year i mean, bobaflex? ive heard 1 song of theirs on the radio. most of the other ones, ive never heard of before. couldnt say that with any mainstage bands last year
-
from what i hear, i think the 45c will be a little more than the 9/40 compacts, as well as a tad bigger (longer) ill get the 45c then a kahr PM4043 for summer light clothes carry and ill be set.
-
ive actually had tad tighter pants on ude to losing weight, and it fits fine with the smaller jeans im waiting for the 45c to come out in april-ish. thatll be a fun one
-
yeah, theyre all bands that have 1 song, then you hardly ever hear them again. last year, the bands that played the main stage were much bigger bands than '5 finger death punch' and other shitty bands like that

not like flipping a light switch, but the thing ive noticed recently is a couple friends of mine who are 18-20 seem to think they know everything, act in ways i look at them like "what the fuck", then realize "holy shit, that was me a couple years ago". once you get over yourself, its a totally different world
-
oh come on...didn't you know EVERYTHING when you were 19? i recall from 18-20 knowing everything, and ever since, realizing i dont know shit.
-
its not easily seen. i only did the letters white to break up all the black and give me a better looking firearm. 99% of it is still black, unlike something like a polished/chrome slide gun, which will stick out like a sore thumb
-
then save up and pay cash for it

if you havent gotten to play with one of these, go rent one, or better yet, buy one. im starting to realize how people can justify spending so much money on a single handgun. ive had this 2 months tomorrow, and already, ive gotten myself 1. comptac MTAC minotaur IWB holster http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/DSC02379.jpg?t=1205812448 http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/DSC02380.jpg?t=1205812448 2. trijicon tritium night sights (hard to picture, but i did my best) http://s7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/th_DSC02451.jpg http://s7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/th_DSC02382.jpg 3. BoomBoom Tactical (anthony, i know you have an M&P. call ronnie bianco or stop by his shop, 6665-d huntley rd, by the budweiser factory. does amazing work) custom trigger work. lowered from 6lbs to 4.5, trigger reset about 1/16" shorter, and polished sear assembly for a smoother trigger 4. custom "i-got-bored" cosmetic changes...i needed to do something to break up all the black, so i finally got around to painting the engraved lettering and logos http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/DSC02329.jpg?t=1205812775 http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/DSC02333.jpg?t=1205812775 along with the +/- 1200 rds ive put through it, and the price of the gun, i figure ive already dropped about 900$ into it during those 2 months. i think this is going to be an expensive hobby thoughts/opinions?

dollar short

i went last year. i was pleased with the line up. this year though, it doesnt seem like there are many/any mainstream bands like last year. theyre all b-level bands. last year, hinder, buckcherry, three days grace, chevelle, breaking benjamin, velvet revolver, none of which will be there this year

i know westerville police checked mine. cost me 85$. i didnt ask them to, though.

im with austin i got a job making decent money when i was 18 delivering pizza. i was making 15$/hr between tips/hourly, and working 40 hours a week. 10 of it was tax free. i went and bought a new car, about 11k new plus tax, title, gap ins, etc. my payments were 235/mo, and with a loan, you MUST keep full coverage. thats something else you need to factor in. i think in the end, it came up to about 450 a month. it wasnt bad at the time, because i lived at home until a month before i turned 21, but then when i decided to move out, i had to factor in a 450$/mo payment into my bills. i would have much rather bought something for 3-4k and paid it off in a year or two, and only had a small insurance payment now, ive gotten my new car payment and insurance to 325/mo, and its easier, but i still wish i didnt have a car payment i say save up your money, drive what you have if theres no problem with it, and buy a fun car in a few years once your out of school. at least then, youll have a good job to fund your toys, because you WILL want to mod it.

good advice too. when my roommate moved in, we had to put the boxes in our laundry room (off the kitchen)...thankfully, he got his own place recently and we moved them back into the spare bathroom, leave the fan on, and put a door stop to keep it open just enough for them to get in and out.
