Paul, I will also put a good word out for CyclistConnection. The owner Rick, and all the employees are good people. Very knowledgeable too. If you can wait another month or 2, they do a Parking Lot sale/Swap meet there. It's only once a year, and you will find your best deal from there then. I have been riding with them just about every warm Tuesday for the past 4 years. I've followed a similar journey to a lot of guys on here apparently. I bought a WalMart special about 6 years ago, to get back into riding. Ended up buying a slightly used road bike from the Swap Meet after about 2 years on the Wally bike. HUGE DIFFERENCE

I've been looking at the idea of a K20-24 or LS swap. Funds are just not there though.

I have my 2013 FR-S FA20 motor with 105k that I believe decided to blow a rod. Looking to see if anyone knowledgeable with these motors would like a winter project (rebuild). If not, could someone recommend me a place that could do it. Hopefully sub $5k. I'm not necessarily in a huge rush to have it completed, if that helps. I would also be interested in a good long block ready to drop in if you know of somewhere local. J.R.

I pretty much did the same thing. Pulled up to the hardware store in my white FRS. Got some good food and was ready to go mingle around. Then I had to leave to help my kid real quick. Got back there at about 2:15 and everyone was gone. Drove my ass up to Hoover without checking the thread. Didn't see anyone. Got on the thread and said .....fuck. Maybe next time CR.

Sounds fun. Wife and I will be there. Possibly drag the teenagers out of the house with us! lol
