  1. I was talking to the teller at Huntington today and she says "What bank would put a sign on the door that says people can't legally carry guns in their bank?!?! Are they stupid?!" I was surprised
  2. I just giggled like a school girl.
  3. My favorite rifle to shoot is my uncle's 6.5 Creedmoor
  4. AK47's ARE inaccurate, people say that for a reason.
  5. Who said any of them were "scared"? I don't go into 5/3 because I can't carry in there. I only use the drive thru. If you go 4 places in a day, lets say, gas station, work, bank, store, plus home and car, and everywhere but the bank allows you to carry, you have an IWB holster, under tuck, for the average customer, it's more of a hassle to disarm for 10 minutes, than what using that bank is worth.
  6. It's not their company policy. I only know this because there is a thread on OFCC where people are pissed because PNC is anti-gun and they want to change banks so that they can carry while banking.
  7. Yep. Even slugs at close range may over penetrate. I don't want to neutralize the threat AND neutralize my poor neighbor who is sleeping
  8. The problem is this, if you shoot the guy down, go *bang bang bang bang* the first 2 shot he is standing, 3rd shot he is falling, 4th shot he is down, that is one thing. But then if you walk up to him, stand over him, and then put another one in him, that will most likely turn a good shoot into a bad shoot. Tests will show the angle at which the shot came from. The DA would argue that the threat HAD to have been neutralized for you to get that close and shoot. Also, you would probably get a few shots center mass before the person drops anyways. http://www.supertrap.com/ST_Downloads_files/StoppingPowerMyth.pdf Also be aware that even highly trained individuals will be lucky to get 20% of their shots on target in a SD shooting with a handgun.
  9. I hope you're kidding. They can do ballistics tests and such and determine that you shotthe intruder while they were on the ground. You can turn a good shoot into a bad shoot in a few seconds by "finishing someone off".
  10. neutralize the threat is a nice way of saying killing someone. Thing is though, if someone kicked my door in, I would shoot them in center mass until I thought they were stopped. I'm not shooting them to kill them, I'm shooting them to stop them from killing me. It would look better to a Grand Jury if you said "I shot until I felt the threat to my life was neutralized" not "I shot the fucker till I KNEW he was dead"
  11. Did you know that 5/3 is the only major bank in Columbus that prohibits concealed carry in their bank? Take a look at the robberies in the past few days.
  12. No, I shoot to neutralize the threat.
  13. My uncle just retired Oct 1 with 42 years from the railroad. Conrail I think.
  14. We got in trouble for selling knives out of a backpack at lunch in '95. Principal called our parents, and we got the backpack of knives back at the end of the day, told never to bring them back
  15. My dad fixed this one for you
  16. in 28 years $80k will have the same buying power as $35k
  17. LOL. My dad had 4 shares of it in 1989. Had to sell them to pay a medical bill for me. I think he still resents me for it.
  18. This. I don't care how much he gets in options, I'd be more concerned with a bonus.
  19. Did he have a tick as he spoke
  20. #1- I wont have a day in court, because it is not illegal. #2- btw, all cases in franklin county are public, you can lok them up online. how about you give a name and prove yourself correct?
  21. I'll ask a lawyer buddy of mine tomorrow. He is a Franklin County contract public defender. He'll look up the cases and explain how and why they were charged. Basically, ORC says there are no restrictions on out of vehicle carry. I really don't believe you.

    Combat Arms

it's ok. I suck at those games though. I'd rather play hunting games, lol
  23. Yeah, in their cars probably. There is NOTHING in the LAW that prohibits carrying without a holster, NOTHING. The only cases I found in Ohio had to do with illegal vehicle carry.
  24. and yes, I basically short myself... STFU
