  1. You sir are a 'Murican badass in my book.. My cousin has a 1986 Porsche 911 Rare M491 Factory Wide Body Cabriolet 1 Of 8 Produced Very Rare that Ive been trying to steal off of him. If he wont, Ill start looking for an affordable early 2000ish 911. Love the Porsches, keep up the clean work.

    Shouldn't that be German badass?

  2. Must have: Sport Diff

    Must have for me: DSG

I just plain didn't like the B8 S4's 6MT. Plus they are more durable than the 6MT Today.

I did 15 back to back Launch Control passes at stage2 power on my B8 and it never coughed once.

    Great cars.

How does shifting speed compare to some of the other fast DSG cars out there - say Evo 10, GTR, etc?

Also, is there a way for me to tell if it has sport diff if it's not listed in the ad?

  3. I had a guy online I was helping find one. They are going for cheaper in the NY/NJ area. I was in shock when I was looking cause I could be

Buy them for retail there and sell them for 5-8,000 more.

You're right about NY/NJ - check this one out http://www.luxuryhaus46.com/web/used/Audi-S4-Premium-Plus-2011-Little-Ferry/11252481/

Not sure if I could live with the red accents though...and I don't see sport diff on the list.

PS don't run and buy this one just yet...lol

  4. Jordan at JET Auto on the board for the car. Sport diff should be manditory, all other options are your choice.

Others can fill in on common issues, etc.

This. And the sport diff should be mandatory too.

The scheduled DSG maintenance at 50,000 is $$$.

I've had mine (2012) going on three years. Tune/pulley. Zero issues - car has been a dream.

The audio setup is a little primitive in my year. GPS can't just find things by name, there's no built in bluetooth, etc. Something to consider when you're looking.

+1 on the sport diff and I would add the DSG is fabulous.

    Thanks for the feedback.

I should have thought of Jet. Jordan if you read this shoot me a PM, otherwise I'll get a hold of you later in the week.

How fast does the DSG really shift? I've heard the S5 is pretty fast but have not heard much about the S4. Ideally I'd like to drive a sport diff/DSG before having Jet source one.

SVT - How is your gas mileage with the pully and tune? HP/TQ numbers? How does this compare to just doing a tune? Any experience with lowering?

  5. I'm leaning toward a B8 S4 for my next car. Audi guys - where should I be looking (locally?) and what should I be looking for specifically, ie sport diff, manual vs DSG, nav, etc. What are some things to look for related to maintenance and repair?

It seems like all the ones on Audizine have inflated prices, and I'll likely need to trade my car in to make the transition a little easier...I don't have the space for both cars at once.

    Jones, you had one right?

  6. Let me just clear this retardedness up real quick....

What made me know it was yet another dumbasses personal conspiracy theory, is that, like most dumbasses, they dont know how the world works, so they make it up in their mind and sell it as fact to the ignorant. And that was the most basic fact around the patent....

When a patent is filed by a corporation, the inventors of the invention do not get royalties or great riches from it. If you file a patent, as an inventor, for a corporation, the corporation OWNS the patent and you are little more than the inventor, and the corporation "might" give you some small prize money for your patent. Most large corporations make employees sign their patent rights away, from the standpoint if they come up with any inventions that they patent, that they got hte knowledge of from their job, the company owns that patent as well.

So hte basic premise of this conspiracy is asinine.

Also, for future reference, when something like this comes out and says "spread this as fast as possible" (sense of urgency)... chances are it is fake and they just want their lie to go viral.

And if you dont believe that, but believe snopes... here you go:

I have family that was directly involved in the design of both the IBM POS bar code scanner (think grocery stores), and the GP automatic paper towel dispenser, and can concur. PS don't hate me if you've ever had to punch the dispenser to get it to work.

  7. its a churchy show and he said things that align with churchy "values". I dont see the problem? People should have more problems with all church/bible related things/people/shows.

Also, i have yet to see any lgbt groups/people actually upset? mostly just slacktavist on fb/forums.

In a statement, GLAAD said: “Phil and his family claim to be Christian, but Phil’s lies about an entire community fly in the face of what true Christians believe. He clearly knows nothing about gay people or the majority of Louisianans – and Americans – who support legal recognition for loving and committed gay and lesbian couples. Phil’s decision to push vile and extreme stereotypes is a stain on A&E and his sponsors who now need to reexamine their ties to someone with such public disdain for LGBT people and families.”

  8. So what effect does it have on the advertisers if the networks highest ranking show, by far, ceases to exist. How does that help the network or advertisers?

Not trying to be a cock, genuine question.

My guess is that the show will go on without Phil-billy, they will continue to sell duck calls, and life will go on.
