    Is there a certain condition when this happens? Like, maybe when it's wet out? Or completely random? You could have a wire that's falling off? You can always get a starter, replace it. Then, if that's not the problem, return it. It shouldn't be hard to replace it. Just a couple of bolts and a plug.

    It could be the trans computer or main computer or as simple as a sensor. Since you do get a light I'd wait for someone with a scanner. Or you can take it to autozone or advance auto, they will scan your code for free. I'm not sure how detailed they can get though.

    I belive so. It just stopped during a drive so we can determin that nothing else is at fault because there were not bangs or booms. It cranks and the battery is fine. It should be the timming. Haven't taken the cover off yet so I guess we'll find out.
