Miss you dude. Especially whenever Missy Elliott comes on.
  2. FD motor swap into the RX8 (or LS if you want more work). It would be well under your budget. I loved the RX8 I had but the renesis always felt like a time bomb just waiting to blow
  3. https://www.rcfuelinjection.com https://witchhunter.com Or just go for some bigger ones and crank up the boost
  4. Wasn't me, thats creepy though haha. Ive had to change phones a few times, I dont think I even have your number anymore. Recency is vital, you need to get flying! Where were you flying out of? One of these days I want to get a tailwheel endorsement, but finding time for the GA flying is tough Jono
  5. Clay, for real? When we going flying? I'm the cheapest instructor you'll find...only problem is I'm only in Columbus a couple times a year
  6. I'm replacing all the fuel rubber as we speak, gotta avoid those famous 928 fires. Luckily I bought the car off an avionics tech, he had already fixed a lot of the issues you just mentioned. But I'm expecting to be chasing wires at some point anyways
  7. I do like the sound of these things. Now if these parts ever show up I could get it going
  8. You know I hate pumpkin spice, I gotta keep it weird. Dude that's some great info, I'll definitely check them out. I always liked the looks of these cars but the more I learn about them, the more I like. Plus Jeremy Clarkson owned one, so they've gotta be good
  9. Eh, unfortunately it's auto. But there are a good supply of 5speeds out there to see out if I ever get bored. It's my extra car so step 1 is get it running, then step 2 is figure out what else I want to do with it, and step 3 is profit. Any ideas? (Besides a Vette Ls and 6 speed swap, that is already on the list somewhere)
  10. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=1034&pictureid=9226 Its been sitting about 3 years, and doesnt run...yet But the body is rust free and I got an awesome price for it. Hopefully I get it ready by spring time
  11. Man, it was a lot easier when you could just roll up to an old circuit city or krispy kreme
  12. Dang thats a pretty build. I had an air filter directly on my turbo in my old impulse and it would constantly pop off, couldn't flow enough. You have any issues with that?
  13. I liked bright. I wasn't expecting much being a netflix movie but was pleasantly surprised. Cloverfield paradox on the other hand...what a crock o shit
  14. Well that explains it, doesn't get that cold down here to necessitate the types
  15. Ok someone educate me. I've drive from Oklahoma to Alabama in my truck and have never seen #1 or #2 diesel. What's the difference? Every station just has tax or no tax diesel. I have seen ultra low sulphur vs biodiesel blend, but never seen them as a choice, it's one or the other depending where you are
  16. Getting to see the world is just incredible, and there's something cool about showing up for a flight and deciding whether to eat lunch in spain or germany. Plus the mission changes with whatever you're carrying and it can be different every flight, have had some very meaningful trips that I'll never forget. I never flew the T-34 but a handful of guys I fly with have. It's basically a pig compared to the texan. Same basic PT-6 turboprop but the texan has about 400 more HP. The T-6 cruise is definitely faster, but still lacks power above 15k. We had a block altitude from FL220 to 230 for the pics/vid. The controller really hooked us up
  17. What year? 6.0 or 7.3? I'm fairly certain on mine (2006) if I unhook the passenger side I will lose all power, but the driver side I won't. I believe the driver side is only hooked to the passenger battery and not to any of the fuse blocks. So not sure depending on what year you have if its the same or reverse. So that means if the passenger battery is bad, then only the driver side is powering it and when you unhook it, everything will lose power. Basically test them individually, never does any good to test the batteries together. If you drive short trips, maybe invest in a trickle charger to keep a charge on them.
  18. Flew quite a lot of dog shit for a few years. Now I'm flying the T-6, teaching all the new pilots. It's a blast, the T-6 is a freakin sports car, but I can't wait to get back to cargo.
  19. Video my wingman took: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6HJVtAjopQ4 We just happened to be right in the path of totality over grand island,NE https://dragondewd.neocities.org/WP_20170821_12_58_09_Pro.jpg https://dragondewd.neocities.org/WP_20170821_12_57_49_Pro.jpg Pictures don't do it justice. When the next one rolls over Ohio, make sure you get out and see it. Jono
  20. confirmed on the mighty google. bummer, I was just in dublin for a few days, wish i would have seen this earlier. glws
  21. That's the last place I took mine to in Columbus, easiest way to do it without getting measurements screwed up. Of course it's been like 10 years since i've been there... Did it work out?
  22. I'm feeling a repeat coming, go pens
  23. That's kinda messed up. $800 on CL but $1k here.
