  1. if you've never used it before on exhuast then i highly recommend PB blaster, the stuff works fuckin miracles.

I got my exhuast manifold down to my cat off in about 20-30 mintues with it, its freakin amazing.

Oh and with an open-end wrench smile.gif

  2. Well see the beauty of 43/57, is i can handle like a rwd car, but i dont spin out or have WAY to much oversteer and actually have to slow down to finish a turn.

Oh and better traction on launches.

    hey anthony.....so's yours smile.gif

Well they have a 57% rear to 43% front torque bias (or stated another way, 32.5% more torque to the rear). Couple that with the light rear and you have a recipe for tailhappiness.

this is why I can kick it out at 15mph.

Just some info kip anderson (driver of a nice impulse and runs a nice impulse website) gave to me.

So the car is more of a RWD car, he also said this "It takes allot of tire smoking action to get the front end torque transfer going"

so yeah, mostly rwd, thats why I kick it out easily. smile.gif

  4. yeah i dump a bit high, right around 5k, i know the stock clutch didnt like that at all.

It would take it but slipped bad too.

Well the ACT is still under development, its in testing right now.

they're basing it off of the DSM clutch, being a smaller clutch but needing to handle a lot of power and strain. Unfortunately they cant get it to hold very well, which I really dont think will take that much longer, but no word of it out yet.

I do really really want an ACT but if its not made when my "other stuff" goes in im going to need something else.

  5. what brand of clutches do you guys like?

im in need of one, and i get very mixed suggestions, relvinnian said DO NOT get a centerforce, but when asking jaime (coldsm prez) he said hes never heard of anyone having a problem.

so Im kind of stuck, I wish the act would come out but its taking forever and a day.

    so any suggestions, thanks

  6. doin it yourself?

depends on what it looks like when you open it up, could have a cost of machining everything, then needing pistons and rods and such.

or you could just need a $50 set of bearings, who knows.

rip it open and find out smile.gif
