  1. They built a car wash not far from my house on sawmill road, which i thought would be great because you could go wash your car there.

    NOPE

everynight theres a cop sitting in the parking lot.

Now i have nothing against a cop doing his job, but i do have something against people that sit and wait for someone to fuck up for their own benefit.

    find something else to do!

  2. I am using a GM knock sensor, all my electronics are GM, but theres only one wire, the knock sensor grounds to the block.

so would i just put the LED inline between the power and the knock sensor, and then when it gets knock it will ground and light up? or am i confused?

  3. I've been reading on swaintech.com about coating the pistons and cylinder head and such and just wondering if you guys could shed any light on the subject. does it actually really help or is it pretty much worthless for the price?

    thanks

  4. just find something you can use to stick in the intercooler pipe, directly after the turbo, or on a DSM you might want to do it to the turbo inlet since it has that flange for the intercooler pipe.

then drill a hole in it and stick a tire valve in it. hook up an air compressor, pressurize the system, listen for leaks, fix leak, you're done ;)

A spraypaint can cap fit really well in my intercooler piping, not sure what you could use.

  5. first thing you need to do is turn the boost up, thats wussy stuff ;)

second, i would find a stocker to use if you're running that low of boost.you'll probably get compressor surge with that low on a lot of aftermarkets, ya i know not all, but i've always shopped for ones that handle at least 20 ;)

I have my stock one that will hold about 12psi and 2nd gen dsm's will hold that too.

the 1st gen ones are great, and hold more, but for that low of boost i'd find the most affordable and easy to find ;)

  6. oh and for the water in the tank, get a water remover, but get an isopropyl alochol type, dont bother with the methyl alcohol stuff, at least from what i hear.

also might want to check and make sure theres no rust in the tank, i dont know if it was problem for these, but if it sat a long time with water in the tank its possible.

  7. three possible sensors, dont know the specifics of the tbird, but call me at my work tomorrow and i can tell you.

but theres usually a fan switch in the rad, then either in the engine or in the thermostat housing will be a coolant temp. sensor for the ecu and one for the gauge or light.

possibly the gauge one is messed up, usually cheap, try changing it.

if fan isnt turning on, hook directly up to the battery and make sure the motor works, if it does, check the wires and/or change that sensor too, still should be fairly cheap.

160 is unnecessary for your car, put the 180 in, put a good 50/50 mix, and try and get most of the air out of the system if possible.

  8. its a honda?

    keep it auto

find a company that makes some kind of shift kit for it possibly.

5-speeds are fun to drive, but the experience i have heard of with honda manuals is broken axles, missed shifts, and 3-2 downshifts.

the best way to make any car fast is a huge turbo with a built auto, kenny can agree to that ;)

hold the brakes, give it gas, get the huge turbo building some boost, leave the line, consistent un-missed shifts with no loss of boost.
