  1. from what i hear that place is pretty shady to begin with, i have a friend that works at a dealership in Johnstown, and he has very reputable knowledge that when ever one of Dotsons cars gets "stolen" it is actually one of his employees (who shall remain nameless) takeing the vehicles,and he runs a private chop shop i didnt annalyze this too much till i heard the same info from another person who has no knowledge of who my friend is,... so the same info coming from two seperate ppl leans me toward believing. plus Denny is kinda prickish anyhow
  2. not a good tranny? compared to what? it was only bad if you were putting 800 ft/lbs through the stock components,... World Class T5 trannies were "world class" for a reason,... they werent nothing to sneez at now of course there is always a better option out there, but their purpose the T5 was a great tranny

  4. incase no one noticed to begin with, (and this is not bout the picture even though it is obviously a photoshop) the mustangs form 94 and up all had "retro" styling line to them, true the 05 is closer to lookin like the original then any other generation, but lets see, 94+ all have side cowls, the body styles on the coupes were designed to simulate the 65 fastback's, tail lights are a dead give away on the 99's and up... so if you dont want a retro styled mustang, dont buy one any newer then 93 hell, half of the ppl on here that own a mustang and said you dont like the retro styling, in fact do drive a mustang with "retro" stylings to them

  7. on my grand am i just start it with the overflow tank cap off, and let it run for a while, it slowly burps itself, as it does this i just continue to add water or coolant, it slowly sucks it into the system and your right, GM systems are dumb...

  11. thers a guy that goes to Devry who has an automatic turbo eclipse. and its a BOV, not BPV, and he has no problems with it,... think about it, for the fractional second that valve is open its not really gonna make a difference, yes it will go rich for hair, but then will find itself again quikly so he should be fine with the BOV once its adjusted and running right
  12. hmmm... ok am conservitive, it may push more but... i have the BIG VAM, and an LA2, and yes i do need the volvo in there my question is what is the LA3 gonna give me over the LA2? they are fundamentally the same, only the La3 is tuneable...
  13. sadly no, the engine design is different from the lima's... so the manifolds arent gonna fit, i have a E3, not the best, but its just lying around i would have gave him... he, and sometimes i have been on the net looking for new kits for the duratechs but nothing yet unless he goes all custom...
  14. nope, my 2.3T is a production 2.3T from a ford thunderbird 83-88, 79-86 mustang SVO's, upto 79 merkur XR4TI's, and ford capris, his engine is the newer 2.3 Duratech, which as of yet has never been produced ina turboed form, but his 2.3 does come stock with about 140HP where as my "old" 2.3N/A came with only 100HP, where as my 2.3T is producing in the ball park of about 160ish for now

  19. with only about 600ish boss 429's built in 69, there is no way that thing would go for less then 70G at barret jackson
  20. big vam, how will it increase hp, from what i understand the LA series are the same, cept the la3 is tuneable, but i dont care to go that far for now, but please enlighten me, i like to know as much as i can... i do have an LA3 sitting around
  21. what does "Avanti signore." mean??? as for how fast does it run, well i havent had it on the road enough to be able to take it to the track, but in the form it is now it should be able to get in the low 16's, maybe high 15',... my sig sias it has the Volvo FMIC, but its not installed yet... for pics of the truck go HERE FOR PICS they are the latest pics i have
