All this LSX talk makes me want one. I've only ever looked on Ebay but you can find combo's there with engine, tranny, computer and accessories often. Seems like prices have gone up on the LSX ebay stuff though.
4500 for this?
Also, I have injectors that you could temporarily use to test with. I believe 86's fired in alternating order and were both 850cc's or something like that. The one's I have are 650cc and 1050cc I believe.

Yes, I am vitamincj on starquestclub.com and all the other starquest sites.
I can't wait to see the car. Let me know if you go out Friday and I will try to make it too.
CJ
Good luck with it. Let me know if you need help with anything. The 86's had some unique fuel system "quirks". The Injector clips need replaced if they haven't been already. That was an issue with all the years. It should be easy to check for fuel and spark. Pull the over the valve cover pipe and have someone crank it, if the injectors spray then you have fuel. Checking for spark it pretty obvious. Sorry if you have covered all this already. I haven't had much sleep the last couple of days. I just got back from the National StarQuest Meet today and saw your thread.
Glad to see another StarQuest around. ;-)

Haven't been on much but haven't seen this posted. It's a nice car meet.

Obviously their specialty is not HTML.
See you there.
Best sounding: The Vettes
Coolest sounding: Audi diesels
Worst Sounding: The Porches of the GT3 cup challenge(close second was the 4cly Acuras)
Engine that sounded like it could blow at any moment: The Ferraris
Just my humble opinion.
I got some video of Friday practice that I will try to put up.
Met all kinds of cool race fans.

Ouch. Just swap in an LSx if you want to go fast in a straight line.
It's true that the engine blows for big power
The car just wasn't made for going fast in a straight line with the factory powerplant.
I think the suspension is set up OK for the twisties though.

So the whole ship was bending around in the hallway vid? Needs stiffer sway bars and strut tower bars. ;-)
PS Now rogue waves will haunt me whenever I go out on the open ocean.(Which is never)
I'd like to hear what you guys use. I have old fuel residue from a leaky TB and the usual oil and random grease mess lower in the bay. I know there is stuff out there that works great but is harmful to the paint. I am interested in what you guys have personally worked with that worked well.
Tell us what you used and post a before and after pic if you feel frisky.
Thanks in advance,
CJ
