  3. I would put any amount of money it was someone who has been there if not a client. That is how the cookie crumbles sadly in these situations. Normal thief's have no idea what they are stealing.

    C7's

Doesn't look like they drastically changed the body styling. Should be promising.

  7. I already started negotiating with them, the car is being advertised at 26, but they have already lost two months of tax on the lot and are over it. So am optimistic I can finalize the deal and be able to get the car. My wife wants 4 doors, I just do not want that any more...We have a SUV for a reason I say... Oh this car has the sport pack, nav act, hpfp fix act, but it has the ivory/grey leather... thats the one downside which makes me want to possibly hold out. I checked out for A4's like Jones with the S pack and everything and in the condition and mileage I was after it I couldn't justify it just yet.
  8. I tried the Audi route this go around again - Not in the budget for what I want Ill skimp on the Bemmmmmmmer

  12. Just buy the direct fit O2 sensors, Bosch has recently lowered their pricing as an FYI. Do not get the universal you pin out and wire in the sensor, if that is the case buy oem. Regards
  13. You steal my car and I will hunt you down. Ask me what you want to know - I have been researching these things for over a month now
  14. Tune-ablility if he chooses to actually degree the cam in instead of setting it straight up, which is fine either way, and then the added security of a HD timing chain. Granted the LS3 chains are fine in most applications.
  15. Mike, Your best bet if you can is to shoot me a phone call at the shop and I can go over some options. I will address some points briefly though. There are several cams out there that can get your goal, but the unique part about a few is their driving characteristics. Most LS3 cam only cars making 470+ whp do not drive all the smooth per say, due to the overlap and aggressive cam lobe profile necessary to generate the power goals. Now there are a few we have worked with that we would recommend. Oddly enough I believe one member above mentioned the LG cam, which is one I may suggest from a shelf grind a vendor offers. That cam drives fairly well so long as you do not try to put the car in sixth gear going 65. There are a few other cams additionally that we may recommend, MTI makes one that works well, we have an options, Livernois has an option, Texas Speed ect. But again not all are created equally when we talk about drive-ability, and unfortunately some manners will just have to be sacrificed to a certain extent. As for the parts you should change out - You should get a billet timing set if you are able to, valve springs and retainers (dual springs will be a must for this aggressive of a cam) , chrome-moly push rods (length around 7.425"), gaskets and such are also going to be necessary. Your stock rocker arms are fine, the only thing to consider is a triunion upgrade from Comp or Harland Sharp. Good luck let me know if I can help. Regards

  22. Ahhh, wheel bearings in a B5 Audi! I did both mine years ago, they needed to be pressed out, and it is semi a pain in the rear. You have to press the hub out of the knuckle, then the bearing off the hub, press the bearing back on the hub, then back into the knuckle...With a hub tamer kit and good pneumatics it is not so bad, I didn't have that when I did mine and pressing them is a pain. If you would like I am certain we can get you a pretty good CR member price to have the bearing replaced at our shop, and I can get you a solid price on a OE SKF bearing. Give us a call 740-657-3278 or email bwright@ipsmotorsports.net
