  1. So everyone knows a slight history on this particular supra Cavin is fortunate to have; it has not made any crazy passes at the track, its not perfectly set to just go click off 8's or what ever it may be capiable of in the very short future. Its close to set up just some minor adjustments (Cavin raced on ccws today and never having driven this car on the strip and it did have some intercooler piping issues which upset the car) iBut Cavin is doing what it takes ; seat time and some hard work! Cavin has the right mentality, and that is, practice makes perfect. We are going to continue to support him and his progress with this car! Its just a down right amazing car no matter who *did the wrenching*, its not as if Cavin just sits there an does nothing he is very involved in the process of getting this car down the track at some great times! I think we can just relax ,and I hope we will see more people out again soon! Also Tym needs a congrats with that Porsche, what he is venturing into is incredible!
  2. What you dont realize Joe, is that LPE doesnt do *all* their development. Just so happens LPE TT kits are *nearly* identical to APS, the reason is a gentle man named David Inall (not sure how the spelling on the last name is). David is the current lead engineer at air power systems, and is one of the best minds in the turbo industry, remember incon? They also didnt *develope* a drivetrain to put in that 288k car, it ironically was built and designed with RPM which is who we have had help us with some of the drivetrain. See the pattern it! (and by no means am I implying that what they did engineer is not top notch, as well as their innovation because that again is not arguable.) Like Jeff said, we are not Ligenfelter never will be. Nothing to argue about there. But its like Brian mentioned its nice to see other people testing the boundries, it only benefits the whole community. Back to the race day, Big congradulations goes to David Buschur and his car, just awesome! We have a lot of videos of the car im sure will get hosted! Jamies car is just spectacular and its power is unreal, mearly the sound of the car doing a burnout made me grin. Im certain they will get the car dialed in, it was insane watching the car go down the track! Cavins first pass was a good shake down, and it was unfortunate the pipe blew apart after the second burnout! We will have it fixed ready to race again hopefully on saturday! He has a great grasp on the car! Hope to see everyone out at CR day and other track days!

  16. Cavin stopped by for a tune and a light tinkering, and also Brought along a friend and his GTR! First the vette results for those interested after a tune and some light tinkering. Mods- LG 1" & 3/4" lnog tube and of road x pipe LG catback 160 thermostat K&N intake http://ipsmotorsports.net/pictures/cavin%2007%20Z.bmp The K&N intake likes to hold the heat in a little to much verse other vendors. The small exhaust runners really keep the power down a little as well. http://ipsmotorsports.net/pictures/CavinZ06%20%283%29.JPG As for the GTR, really wild car! The in-dash settings and gauge controls are incredible! You can see everything you would ever want! The Brakes massive (Heavy car duh) Over all a really nice spectacle! http://ipsmotorsports.net/pictures/jason%20fetter%2006%20viper/GrahamRahalGTR%20%281%29.JPG http://ipsmotorsports.net/pictures/jason%20fetter%2006%20viper/GrahamRahalGTR%20%282%29.JPG http://ipsmotorsports.net/pictures/jason%20fetter%2006%20viper/GrahamRahalGTR%20%283%29.JPG Cheers -Brandon
