I am listing this car for my sister who is in need of selling it to purchase a four door. I will list what I know of the car and try to answer any questions the best I can. Overall the car seems to be in fairly good condition but will need a few details worked on as you will see in the pics. The car does need a tune-up and some new tires. Indeed...every hot rod site I'm on has a loooong on-going discussion about just that very thing. But back to the truck, I think it would be a great project and has a TON of potential. I'd go for it.

For the same reasons the Dave mentioned. I'm good friends with the President of the Road Devils CC and that group of guys absolutely despise that term because they consider their cars to be traditional rods or a period correct cars vs some thrown together death trap.

If the cab is solid, those can go for $2k+ alone. There's a guy who built his entire '32 for $3k on clubhotrod.com, but he really went out of his way to source parts that he could use for the build. I think you could easily have a couple more grand into her to get it complete (depending on how "finished" you want her to look)

Looks like steering, brakes, wiring are the bigger items on the to-do list (from the pics).

What figure do you put on the bike? Looks like a steel body (rust on lower cowl in 2nd pic) There's a lot of money in that '32 and once it's put together it'll be worth quite a bit more than the bike IMO.

Plus, once it's done, you have the satisfaction of knowing you did it yourself. That's how I felt about my bathroom remodel anyways. A few weeks of PITA drywall will be worth it once it's all done. It does look really nice though. The kitchen looks great too.

I have this Weider 9645 setup that is pretty much collecting dust in my basement (it's true, you can actually see the dust in the pictures). It's in really good shape, just doesn't get used as much as I would like. I have the assembly manual as well. Sounds like it's exactly what you're looking for. Pretty sure after 9+ years, I'm completely annoyed with working nights. Doesn't seem to matter how much sleep I get during the day, I'm worn out at night. 0 motivation FTMFL!
