Spent about 4 or so hours out at the show today. Took about 65 pictures and a few videos as well. I'll try to get them hosted and posted in the next day or so. Had a great time and saw some sweet cars. Talked to a few pretty nice people as well. FYI...those NITRO cars are no joke.

I've been looking at these for a while now. I'm a fan of the Silver, but have yet had the chance to actually drive one. I stopped into Toyota Direct on Morse a few weeks back, but it was still so cold at that time, I didn't really feel like dragging a sales person around on a cold ass test drive. Congrats.

So a guy that has bought a few items from my parts car, is wanting the LT1 badly. He has a built 11:1 355 in a 3rd gen Camaro that he wants to trade even up for th 125K mile LT1 that is in the parts car. He's coming by today to let me see and hear the car run. I'm going to get some pics of it and try to get a video as well. I've been asking $800 for the LT1, harness and computer, so I think I'll be coming out ahead on this deal pretty well. Sight unseen would you go for it?

Gates open at 10 on Friday and the racing starts at noon. I'm hoping to get there around 11 or so.

Anyone heading out to National Trails for this event this weekend? I'll be out there all day Friday getting some blisters on my toes. My goal is to spend some time in the swap meet section looking for some SBC parts.

Here's a few pics of my best friend's 4-4-2 that I helped him restore about 15 years ago. The restore is starting to show it's age, but it's still a head turner. We tooled around in it for a while yesterday only to find that the gas tank is leaking (badly). Anyone have a lead on a good replacement, let me know. I don't think he's really in the market to sell it. Took us 2 years to build it and now that the weather's nice, he'll finally be able to drop the top on the thing.

Guys, I'm trying to help out a buddy find some new tires for his '69 4-4-2. He's got some old BFG's on the car currently mounted to 14" Rally wheels 225/70. I don't think he's really wanting to venture too far from this size, but most of my searching has come back with limited "good" tires in this size. Anyone have any suggestions, please feel free to chime in. I think he's looking to change these out in the next few weeks. Thanks in advance.
