I did this, but when I connect it to my desktop via USB, it asks me to format the drive. Anything I can do to recover files still?

Wasn't sure, but did see that the Anna Nicole issue has gone for as much as $100, so guess I was just curious.

In going through some boxes while organizing, I came across some old Playboys in two boxes. In one box the magazines were bent over and those ended up getting tossed, but the other box, all the magazines are in mint condition. The one that I think is going to be worth the most is the Feb 2001 issue with Anna Nicole Smith, but there are a few others that might have some value too.
