Well thanks for the info guys, it looks like the LS1 is staying home this weekend and I am driving over my other car. My local tuner (of whom I couldn't get ahold of till today) said I shouldn't take it on that long of a trip. It did have quite a few mods added all at once, and runs pretty bad. Hes going to tune it for me once im back in indy this coming week.

I am going to be in town (dublin) for the 3 day weekend. I just put a T-rex cam, supporting valvetrain, long tubes, UD pulley, Z06 IM, True dual 3" exhaust, and some other bolt ons in the other day...(1999 LS1) Needless to say, it needs at least a rough tune for now. It barely idles by itself. If anyone in the columbus area has HP tuners, and would be willing to meet up this weekend sometime, i'd throw some beer/food your way. Let me know! Rob

Welcome, I've got an S4 TurboII, LS1 V8 swap. Live in Indy for the time being.

I know of about 3 in Indy that run 13.2-13.9 bone stock with the boost turned up a little, there is a local guy that runs 12.6@119 with a much larger than stock turbo but an otherwise stock engine, and another one that runs 12.8@117 with a larger than stock turbo they are becoming a rash around indy

2nd gen RX7, but I'm biased

Just pull a salvaged LS6/LS1 engine and toss it in for now. Build it later. It will run 11's all motor stock. I pulled a 99 TransAm LS1/T56 for my RX7 I plan on selling this car, and doing an LS6/FD RX7 by next year.

Similar to my car, but I only weigh 2700lbs not 3000 Domestic/Import I love it.

Keep in mind 2nd gen RX7's only weigh 2600-2800lbs A lot less than vette's or Fbody cars
