Actully i decided to take it to Mowery's Collision, INC. One of my drivers is a 16yr manager there so i trust that he and his guys will do it right... because if he doesnt... he'll hear about it every single day Its going to cast me $500 out of pocket, insurence is covering the rest. I estimate about $5000 in parts/labor so a $500 hit is well worth it.

When the front end hit the rail... i was probaly doing about 40 but as it swung the nose was probably moving 60. In all honesty i dont know... i was franticly trying to keep the car from any sort of impact, that i wasnt looking at my dash. The shit thing is, is if i would have had 3 more inches of space between me and the guard rail, i coulda made a perfect recovery. 3inches. I guess skills only go so far

my favorite was the girl that sucked really bad, then Simon said... "God, does not want you to win this contest." I LAUGHED SO HARD!

Yea so tonight i was heading west-bound on 104, and the road seemed to be pretty well cleared... just wet. I had two of my roommates in the car and we were cruising right along at about 65. Well, out of no where, i hit something... black ice, dark colored standing snow, i dont know. The back end made a nice twitch. The stability control did its job and got the car straitened back up but on its last little wiggle i hit something else. This was too much for the S40 to handel and went into a violent spin. Now... if you dont know about 104, its 2 lanes, a guard rail on one side, a concrete barrier on the other. The S40 went sideways and i began working the wheel and gas pedal to try and keep it from crashing. I spun it around 3 FULL rotoations and then went into a 4 wheel slide down the road. As i made a last ditch effort to bring the front end back around, the front end swiped the guard rail then came to rest. I got out to look at the damage and was shocked. Not only that i had just takin on a guard rail with my new car, but that the damage wasnt more extensive. It just took it like a beast. The front bumper is missing paint almost all the way across it. Theres a long crack in the bumper under the driver side head light. The grill is broken, and the hood got bent from the upper lip of the rail. The headlight wipers are pretty banged up, but the lights are fine. And i think i messed up the wiper motor or a relay of some sort. NO STRUCTURAL DAMAGE, NO ENGINE DAMAGE, NO BROKEN GLASS! So now i have to face the music... I need a new hood and front bumper, or a DAMN GOOD body shop that can fix it. If anyone has any ideas... ill take em.

well, ive decided that as long as i have payments left on the S40... i shouldnt be dumping money into this thing. If anything, ill pick up racing again once i get closer to paying of the S40. Building a full blown race car is just not in my budget anymore. When i get promoted... ill build another one graemlins/thumb.gif

Im off Monday too. Name a time and ill meet you at the store. Ill give you an app, and a test. Youd be hired in at $6 but tips make it soooo much nicer.

Yea but what i meant was after it was off, it didnt stay down at all. When you hit a person with one, they are pretty much immobilized for at least a min. That bull got up like it didnt even happen.

tonight i worked 8hrs... made $70 in tips and 6.75/hr wage... comes out to 14.98/hr total. AND TONIGHT WAS SLOW! I only took 28 runs... usualy i take about 35 so i could have easily made another 20 bucks.

If you buy a Cobra over a Z06 you should be ashamed.
-
its probably on the front side of the block... 6in or so from the bottom. Ive never seen the placement the old 2.8/3.1's but they are usually all in about the same area.

mandatory drug test is not required... BUT... if i get you a job, and then catch you with it at work on you, in your car, or even smell it... dental insurence may be required.

This is the car i was racing last year. It has very little interior left... good carpet though. I still have all the seats if you really want them but only the driver seat is in it. Paint is ok, but a touch up wouldnt hurt. Few dings. Tranny is decent... 3rd gear syncro is a little iffy but it still goes into gear fine. Engine... needs work. Needs a bottom end rebuild. The block, crank, and rods are all shot. Pistons, head, acc., manifolds are all should all be in good shape. Good news is... i have a spare prepped .020 over block, a race preped crank WITH MATCHED Clevite 77's, and some very hard to get 650hp eagle H-beams. Pistons could be swapped over. I also have a spare oil pan, oil pump, water pump, stock manifolds, cams, heads, fuel rail, injectors, and tons of others parts. Ill let it all go for the right price Im thinking around $1800-2000 for the lot of it.

It seems like it just tensed it up.... didnt even daze it. Bulls are tough.

Actully i make less than the drivers and afford it graemlins/thumb.gif A full time driver working 35-40hrs/week could take home a good 25-30k a year if you kept track of tips. North boundry is Renner RD South boundry is Alkire RD East boundry is I-270 West boundry is Cole/Alton RD

Right now we really need night time drivers. Mostly during the weekends but really all week. Driver shifts are usually one of the following: 4-9 5-10 5-1am 6-10 6-12am 6-1am 6-2am (Fri/Sat ONLY) 7-11 Those are the usual shifts but we are very flexable. I WILL BE THERE TOMORROW! Ill be driving from 6-2am so if anyone wants to stop in and grab an app, PLEASE DO SO! If youd like to meet me there at an earlier time, just ask and i can give you the app and test myself. The Manager upfront during the evening should be Bill, the RGM... ill be in and out all night. If you have any ?'s, call me on my cell (513)314-2436.
