Close enough. Alcohol has a cooler burn. Take Model airplane fuel for example... not the same stuff but the effect is drastic enough for you no "feel" the difference. If you pourd a puddel of gasoline on the ground and lit it on fire, you wouldnt dare touch it because itll burn you right? Do the same thing with some alcohol/Nitromethane mix and even though its properties are more explosive, it burns cool to the touch... well, not cool, but if were to accidently get it on you and it lit, you could bare it for several seconds before any kind of redness and blistering would occure. Ethanol and Methanol also evaporate VERY quickly... getting it on your skin will provide a ice cold sensation. The rapid evaporation (being a cooling process, I.E. sweating) causes a reduction in temperature on the surface of your skin.

Just paint the headers yourself... Most of the high heat paints have ceramic properties now anyway... if thats not enough, header wrap. Works fine and has a great look if you do it right.

Most everyone worth knowing or talking to either stopped coming out, or turned into total douche bags. I had a conversation with Bucky one night and a lot of it comes down to most of us just got tired of sitting in parking lots. I personaly, really got tired of hearing bad news, and seeing bad things happen. You know when things started to go down hill? When Ben crashed last year. IMO, that was the begining of the end. Then not but a week later, the incredible twirling civic... then after a whole year of let downs, poor George was all I could take. Id like to think I made a lot of good friends hanging out with CR, but its all that much easier to lose one, when fate/chance has a larger pool to pick from. BTW... the fast cars out here seem to be the Audi's and belive it or not, Volvos !?!?! The S4's and S6's are pretty big out here, so are the new C30s and S60Rs... ive seen more NSXs and Porsches than I have Camaros and Mustangs... very wierd out here... but the AWD cars seem to pretty much be the thing to build up. I think a lot of them run up Pikes Peak in the early morning quite frequently... no real room for NA cars at 14,000 ft

I already see that last article as unreliable... British are paying $4.08... not $8.71. Thats HALF of what this guy is writing... something is seriously wrong with his facts. Also, as far as only 6% of the reserves being oil controlled.. that may be true, BUT about 90% of the worlds reserves are in areas that have been made illegal to drill in... so really, nobody is taping into them, nobody conrtols them... so inreality, oil companies own the majority of drillable oil.

It shouldnt. Gas is exspensive becasue our dollar is worthless. Gas and everything else goes up, the more our dollar tanks. England pays only 2.60EUR/ gallon of gasoline... but 1EUR is valued at $1.57 Gas is the same price everywhere... it just seems inflated because our money isnt backed worth a shit... and this latest brilliant plan to print an extra $600 bucks for all tax payers made it even worse. Well ive shot my dads .22's, one of which is a bolt, and im pretty good with those. Ive pretty much reached the limit of what you can do with one of those with a 9x scope. My dad was in the reserves when he was youger and was in the sharp shooter trails. He said they used to shoot a 12in target at 200yrd with stock sights, for 50 rounds. You had to hit 48 to go to the sharpshooter school and he shot 47, the one guy that beat him shot 49. So though he wasnt able to go to the school, he still knew his way around the target range. He took me out a few times after practicing with a BB gun and then a break barrel pellet gun. I was shooting 1in targets at like 30yrds with those to start, then moved them back to about 45-50yrds. I think i was breaking 7 out of 10 at that range. With the .22 I was hitting pop cans at the base of tree stumps at about 100yrds. We threw a 9x scope on the bolt gun and i did pretty well with it, but i wasnt good at reading wind so the longer shots were a little spread. So I went back to the pellets. I learned how to compensate with the wind with those because theyre so light... but then i had trouble sighting in becasue the spreads were so large at 100yrs. I thought getting a new one this year would help becasue it was higher power, but it really didnt make much difference. Now im just ready to get a couple sand bags, a pod, and a nice scope and start dialing in my skills. Its almost theraputic for me because i get to just slow my self down and relax. Slowing my breathing, my heart rate, focusing, and pulling the trigger. I just want to throw a target way out there and picking it off. I may take up hunting some day... why chase a animal down when you only have to see it to hit it

Stck boost is supposed to be 8.5psi on S40s, but the T4s run 10. Mine has always run 10 since ive had it... but now it runs about 6. I know the turbo is on its last leg so its going to be replaced with a garrett in the near future, but this crap started before the turbo started going out. No, im not out of injector... out of tune, but not out of injector. I dynoed twice, once at Brinas, and the oter at IPS, and didnt have any problems. These injectors are 420's stock, good for an easy 300hp... im making 200. This began one day last summer when I was on my way to work. I got on the interstate hard, everything was fine. Drove 3 miles to the next ramp and got off the exit. After sitting at the light, i made my left turn and got into it hard. It immediatly started breaking up so i backed off. i put it back on stock boost and it was fine. Left it that way for a long time, no big deal. Turned it up about 3 months later just to see... and it was still doing the same thing. Put it back on stock boost. So after reading a couple threads about other S40s having issues, i found someone else that had the same issue. But thier issue is due to a Phase 1 pump defect. They use a off brand pump, and theres a very short pickup tube on the bottom of the pump so if you have less than 3/4 of a tank, under high load in 4th and 5th gear the engine stumbles. The phase 2 cars have a Walbro 190 pump and dont have this issue. I was going to put a 255 on it a couple months ago, but decided to wait untill i put the bigger turbo on the car, and do it at the same time. Ill have to go ahead and do it when i get out to CO. It could be as simple as the pump filter being clogged but i dont see there being much there if the FPR was spotless.

Yea 10inch spreads at 500m is not exactly what I had in mind. Where would I even find a decent bolt action rifle worth keeping to shoot 500-1000m... Im not new to guns, but im not expierenced in the details of guns. Like i could figure out how to take it apart and look at it for about an hour and figure out how it works well enough to clean it and put it back together, but as far as all the tech lingo on trgger pull and MOA (which i just had to look up on Wiki)... not a clue. And ive never bought a gun... i have a few, but they were my dads, and a couple shotguns i recieved for Christmas... other than a gun show or like Bass ProShops... i wouldnt have the slightest idea where to look for a QUALITY firearm.

I wonder why they would only be on certian vehicals though? I mean inside of one specific model... None of the Phase1's have it, and only 1 year of the phase2's have it, no other Volvo cars have it... all returnless rails, all port injection, all high pressure systems, and most of them turbo... Its just got me confused. I dont know what my fuel problem could be then. i havent replaced the pump, but if it wasnt working, the car wouldnt run... I just replaced the injectors, the filters, inspected the rail and FPR found no defaults, replaced the FPR vacuum line, no dice... Im dead set on this being a fuel issue... i dont know how it could be an air or spark issue if im getting lean codes here and there... the misfire codes are more abundant, but its only when you need lots of fuel... and maybe an occasional blip at idel. I guess ill have to replace EVERYTHING untill i figure it out because noone knows whats wrong with it.
