One of my drivers got a flat tire tonight while driving, a gash in the sidewall to be exact. He took it over to Mr. Tire to have a new tire put on it. After fumbling around with the lugs for about 20 min or so, they told him that they were able to remove 4, but they couldnt get the other 2 (6 lug) So he limps it back to my lot and askes me to come help him to see if we could get the lugs off ourselves since the Mr. Tire cunt monkeys couldnt seem to figure out how to do it. I bend down to look at the lugs and 2, not 1 but 2, of the lugs were rounded off. These dildos used the wrong size socket, not a torquestick, a socket, on these things and tore them all to shit. After ripping them up, they didnt bother to tell him anything other than, we cant get them off and were closing in about 10min... basically sending him on his way. So I mangaged to hammer on a deepwell socket that was just a tad too small, and makde an attempt to break them free... no budge... and im a big boy. After trying once more the socket slipped off and made it worse. So we go to Autozone and buy a 24" 1/2" breaker, and 3/8 adapter, and a stripped nut kit. Wrenched it on there and snapped the adapter. i saw that coming. So we went and got a 1" socket and put it around the outside of the stripped nut tool and ended up snapping the top 90% of the nut off. Needless to say, the nuts were on there WAY TO TIGHT, but the point is that these fuckers stripped two of the bolts, and sent him on his way w/o even trying to work with him on it, let alone even telling him they fucked them up. I myself am going to go in there and see if I can get them to do anything about it, if they refuse or want to get shitty with me, ill be calling the all the media contacts i have in the rolodex

you can buy the headlight interupters and led flashers, but i think i have to custom make the blue and green ones i want... i want them to sit behind my black grill and i can inlay them into the bezels of my headlights and turn signals too lol.

Heres a technology that american cars dont have.... DOORS THAT WEIGHT LESS THAN 50LBS! Ever close a door on a GM car and here how loud it is? Or park on a hill and have to hold your door open to get out and run away real fast so it doesnt slam on you? The BMW/AUDI/MERCEDES/VOLVO/VWs dont do that.. the doors are light, they stay open untill you close them, and when they close, they do it quitely. Whats so hard about make a door thats lighter than 50lbs and is less than 5ft from hinge to lock?

Butlook at the price tag on an AWD V8 Audi, and then that of GMs 2 RWD V8's.... Corvette - 42,000 GTO - 29,000 S4 - 47,000 A8 - 68,000 Theres no market for a $50-70k GM vehical that doesnt have the name "Corvette" on it. No one is going to go out and buy a $50,000 Chevy the first year they come out without a familiar name attached to it, and for anyone to buy it, it cant have cheap ass plastic interior panels... this is a change that GM will NEVER make. You know what american vehicals lack? Pride. The people that build them and design them, because thats thier job, not because they want to pour themselves into designing something that represents thier name. I gaurnatee if the were required to stamp someones name and home address of the designer on the inside of the door, the cars wouldnt be built to NEED 30,000, 60,000, and 90,000 mile tune ups.

they have half shafts and integrated diffs, the whole system is more compact. Considering that a V8 motor by itself probably weighs as much as a 1.8-2.0L, tranny and axels combined, ASS-U-ME ing that its not an all aluminum V8 with titanium rods, pins, bolts, etc.

Both. Theres about half the rotating mass all around. A lot of the little 4 bangers are in the neighborhodd of 500-1000lbs lighter than the big V8 cars, and most of that mass is in the drive train. In a FWD you dont have a rear end, a drive shaft, heavier suspension to support the extra weight of the engine and transmission, smaller gas tank in some cases, etc.

Yea, be aware though, the guy who owns the yard on the north end of Brown Rd, knows the new car schedule, so you will see him and about 4 of his guys walk through the whole yard twice a week and pull every complete motor in there. they mark them and then start cutting cables and wires and hoses. Thats why when you go to HIS yard, theres about 500 motors laying around.
