  2. Let the Volvo guy chime in: http://s40concepts.net/forum/index.php?t=getfile&id=3280 http://s40concepts.net/forum/index.php?t=getfile&id=3311 Incase some of you are blind that's DOES SAY 8.46@163 in a Volvo! Oh and what about an old body style S40 http://web.telia.com/~u85128416/images/rototest.jpg Quote from the Owner"The engine is programmed to be run on 98 octane petrol (standard in Sweden) and I'm running at 26 PSI of boost between 4.000 and 7.000 rpm. The result 420bHp / Torque 520Nm To give you a feel for what the performance is like, you can compare weight to power ratio. A sample of fast cars have the following ratio: Ferrari 360 Modena (3,7 kg/hp) Lamborghini Murcielago (3,4 kg/hp) Porsche 911 Turbo 420hk (3,7 kg/hp) BMW M5 E60 507 hk (3,6 kg/hp) Audi RS4 380 hk (4,4 kg/hp) My car weighs 1.300 kg which gives it a ratio of under 3,1 kg per horsepower... Actually giving it better acceleration performance than all of the above stated cars." OR THIS 650HP supercharged PUV (performance utility vehicle) all I can say is FU Porsche: http://www.swedespeed.com/gallery/generated//FWD%20and%20AWD/XC90/PUV%20Design%20Study%20-%20LA%20Auto%20Show/003__scaled_600.jpg

  5. I think the neon you are thinking of is Jon's (Co-Owner of Slow Motion).
  6. We took down one of our used Corollas to the VW store next door and parked next to the new jetta and pointed out all the similarities. The VW guys were not to happy! smile.gif
  7. Passen is over priced!! You should have checked out SlowMotion! This car screams for a JDM frontend Conversion!!
  8. The BFG's are really only any good for the FWD guys. I use them for everyday use. Rain or shine. I have driven over 300 miles in a day on them and have no issues. Used them at the track too. Plus the BFGs are only $129 each, so their cheap enough I don't mind replacing them every 4 months or so.
  9. I have gone 3 years now with my wife. This place so rocks!!! www.ashcavecabins.com The Love Bug cabins are where it's at!! smile.gif
  10. I really like my Omni Power set-up. Their street set(10k fronts and 8k rears)is not bouncy but their race set (12k fronts 10k rears) is a little bouncy especially on 270 at Easton. Otherwise I love my race set!! Worth looking into. Slow Motion Motorsports is a local authorized distributor.
  11. I don't know, I thought that is what He told me when I dropped them off, but that was 6 months ago and I could be wrong. All I know is they look baller as fuck!!
  12. I paid $252.30 after tax for 4 15" rims, prepped, coated front/back, and clear coated.
  13. I would ask the guys over at www.s40concents.net
  14. definitely call Joshua Robinson at Streetworks!! I had my rims and now my intercooler piping done there and they look BALLER!! Streetwerkz Rod Shop and Powdercoating 1608 Clara Ave 614-291-0951 Tell him Joshua with the black teg sent you!!
  15. Omni Power race series coilovers 12K fronts and 10K rears, Omni Power camber kits, Full-Race traction bars, spoon strut bars. PS Sorry for being a dick to COLD AIR. I just hate people who would rather be an asshole and pick a fight then play nice. Putting out a challenge is one thing, being an arrogant asshole about it is another.
  16. Hey Ass face if you look at the title it says makes power not runs fast!! And yes you're probably right you could "out run me" in the 1/4 seeing how I have only run 6 times down a drag strip yep it's easy to beat up on a noob! If my car was only designed to run down a 1/4 mile then you're talking out your ass! From a roll you want no piece of this!! Yep I have suspension work done!!
  17. Your biggest issue with no home phone is if your credit is iffy and you aply for a car loan or a cc some banks require you to provide them with a home phone number and they will not except a cell phone as a home phone. We ran it to this problem several times here at the dealership and could not sell someone a car. If you have good credit above 650 you should be ok (of course only about 50% of america has over a 650 becone score).
  18. I spoke with Tom Beard He is our Service Manager. He requested that you please contact him. He said he will try to help you out. tbeard@byersvolvo.com or 614.864.0780
  19. I'm glad you like your 850. Most dealerships or service garages charge to diagnosis any issue with a car brought in. As far as the Ford Ford bought out Volvo so Ford could take advantage of their safety and reliability record. Ford was hoping it would elevate them. Ford has NOT built any parts for any current Volvo. The closest would be: 1.) Any safety innovation Ford and Volvo developed together goes straight to Volvo for a couple years and then to Ford and the rest of the family. 2.) the new 2005 S40 base platform is also given to Mazda for the new 3 and the European focus. However the front and rear sections as well as the roof structure are patented by Volvo for exclusive use. 3.) The addition of sirrus satellite radio in a Volvo Now Ford is using Volvo technology for it's new cars. IE Ford 500, AWD system, airbags, side impact protection systems, suspension designs, etc
  20. Thanks man!! Injectors are 880cc. Yep 91% is close, that is why we had to call it a day instead of turn the boost up more. Yep I had an AEM EMS and I had alot of issues with it. The reason I switched to Hondata is my tuner wanted to prove he could tune my car better and with less need for constant touch-up. When we switched EMS we took it to the dyno (dyno pulls were less then a week apart with temp and evrything almost the same) and because of my tuners ability with hondata I went from 367@17psi to 401@17psi with a tune that drove like a none modified car. Which for a daily driver is crucial!!
  21. My name is Joshua Miller, Internet Manager for Byers Volvo. Any AWD Volvo has a turbo. A Volvo life expectantly is 18.6 years. Volvo is a reliable car. Volvo is a durable car. I have put over 200,000 miles on a Volvo. I have owned Volvos for 12 years. In the years your looking for: Volvo offered AWD in both a sedan (S70 1998-2000), a wagon (V70 1998-2000), a offroad style wagon (XC70 1998-2000), and a wagon (V70R 1998-2000). Here is some info on all of them but the V70R: All of them will be automatics. 2.4L DOHC inline 5 190hp@5100rpm 199ft-lbs@1800rpm. Curb weight 3148lbs. 20 city 28 highway. V70R: AWD with automatic 2.3L DOHC inline 5 236hp@5100rpm 228ft-lbs@2600rpm. Curb weight 3371lbs. 19 city 26 highway. Volvos are known for more then just safety! I'll stop before I start writing a novel! Anything else I can answer let me know.
  22. There is a reason my car is called "MOXJET" DCI sanctioned Judge for 2 years. As far as a game....damn haven't played in 3 years, so I'd be rusty but down! I'd sell all my cards about 6 (4 row boxes) except for my 2 Kabold decks (spent to long gathering them to part)!
