I wouldn't be surprised if this was challenged legally at some point. It's pretty ridiculous. Next thing you know we'll have computer chips slapped in us for our health insurance companies to gauge wether or not we smoke, drink, excercise, have high blood pressure. I just think that it's an invasion of privacy, I would not do it just to save a couple of bucks.

Yea, my fiance got in a similar accident about 2 years ago in the 98 Civic EX. Hood fucked, Left and right fender fucked, winshield cracked. it ending up costing around 9,000 dollars to fix including rental car for her. Original estimate was around 7G's. They would have totalled it if they would have known the real cost, but you can't predict the future. Now we've got a fresh front end on a 100,000 mile car.
