I just recently built a new computer for a friend and have had issues installing windows, I have tried to use two different windows cd's and both have hung on the install, okay here is the problem in more detail. I insert the disk in the cd-rom and boot from the cd it goes thru the drivers and such then it goes to "starting windows" it never gets to the screen where I need to format the drive for use. I have tried even to use the data lifeguard tools cd that the hard drive came with to format the drive ahead of time and to check for errors, as far as I can tell everything check out fine on the drive. The PC itself consists of the following : A7N8X nforce2 mobo ASUS 2600+ Barton AMD 9600XT ATI Radeon 120 GIG WD 7200 RPM HD 512 PC 3200 DDR Corsair RAM ANTEC 350 Watt mid tower case Im not sure what is wrong any advice would help Im just in dire straights to get an operating system on this thing! -Thanks Adam

How many of you have forgotten to turn your lights on? Christ its a common mistake I dont think that it warrants a 105$ fine yes it was a mistake but it was a well lit street and it really didnt phase me that my lights were not on, and the reason I felt harrassed is because I turned my lights on right after he had signaled me if I were in an adult in my 30 or 40s would I had been ticketed or warned? He also accused me of trying to ellude him because I turned on to another street, yet he had no lights on to assume he was in pursuit and he copped an attitude. Sure its a lesson learned but still shitty.

Got a ticket down here in my good old home town of Lancaster last night. So here is the story, me and said friend were minding our own business driving down main st last night around 10:00pm minding our own business, driving the speed limit and just going along without a problem, an officer going the opposite direction then flicks his lights at me, I realize that my lights were off. So I turned them on and continued on my way, well come to find out the officer has pulled a U-Turn at this time and proceeds to pull me over. He then proceeds to take not only my ID to his cruiser but my buddies also. Under the circumstances that was a little far to go in my opinion considering the offense I was pulled over for. So then he comes back with a ticket that reads no headlights and the fine falls in to the category of $105 ticket for said violation 337.02(a) he was quite rude about the situation and I believe I was just being harassed. So I am going to of course go to court and fight this because I believe I should have rightfully been given a warning. I was just wonderng what plea I should enter under these circumstances and how to go about the process. -Thanks Adam

Overclocking sounds difficult and scary but when done properly it isn't really all that hard. Some question I would ask are what do you want to overclock? Processor? Graphics Card? Memory? Knowing the type of system you are running will help too in terms of where you wanna go with your system. Their are lots of option too when it comes to cooling an overclocked system. It all depends on your budget, air cooling, water cooling, peltier. Just a matter of how far you want to take your current system.

So the old mobo + cpu combo works fine im assuming? Just taking that as a yes since you went and unistalled everything to see if that would help. If that is true, sounds like a mobo problem, I had a friend that had an older gigabyte that had the same problem, do you have any way to get another cpu to try out on the system? Sounds like a faulty mobo to me, no post no nothing on the first try, then it wont allow you to adjust the settings when you did get it to post. Another problem could be the Power Supply, not sure how many watts you have, but sometimes too much strain on a non brand name ps can cause problems.

Ya know without sticking up for either side here I must say a few things. No one really knows what happened, but if a plane really did hit the pentagon let the public see the video of the other two establishments that taped the tradgidy. We have seen many videos of the attack on the towers and the planes hitting them. So why does the government keep these pentagon video's from us? If it really was a plane then just show the video's. But sticking up for the other side of the arguement, where is flight 77? Did they just vaporize the plane in midair? Sure it could of been shot down by the military but still some wreckage should have been found somewhere. Lot's of things do not add up, but the public does deserve some type of answer.
