  1. This is absolutely wrong. Your post is correct if there is no charge, but a low charge will create a lower boiling point for the refrigerant and therefore lowers the temp of the cooling action. More refrigerant = higher boiling point, similar to coolant in a radiator not boiling because it's under pressure. I'm not going to argue with you over this. Google it.
  2. When I bought mine it was from a local (small time) dealer. An out of town buyer was interested, so the guy took it to MAG. They recommended $8k in service. It was all silly stuff, like some of the climate control and radio buttons would stick, so they quoted brand new units. Basically everything to get the car to showroom condition. I found this out when I called MAG to see if they had any history on the car. I told the dealer and he threw a FIT that i talked to them. It was a hell of a bargaining chip though. I lowballed him, thinking he wouldn't accept my ridiculous offer, and he did. I made a hell of a deal on that car. TL, DR - Depending on which place inspects it, sort through the bullshit to see what's important. Also, the 60k maintenance is coming up. If he can do it himself, great; if not, get a quote for that while it's inspected so he knows what to expect. Cost of ownership can be a bitch.

Saw the first show. I read the book when I was in 6th grade. There are some things missing that I'd have preferred to see included, but honestly at 2 hours and 20 minutes it wasn't going to happen. 9.8/10
  4. Jim's Trim does boat stuff too I think.

If you don't know, ask your boss.
  6. Awesome Scott, I hope they pay you what you're worth!
  7. Neither Clay nor myself meant anything insulting. We just posted advice pertinent specifically to you, in a thread where you asked for advice. We both know this about you, and it's why I made the recommendation I did. Your diet and lifestyle can kill you. It would only take about a week for you to get used to eating something new. Thorne did that a couple of years ago, he had never had fruits or vegetables until moving to California. He gagged when he ate a strawberry. Now he loves fresh fruits and veggies. I'd be more than happy to make some recommendations on things that taste good if you're willing to listen. I think it would make a HUGE difference for you.
  8. Proper diet, exercise, and stretching.
  9. IDGAF if I'm in the wrong or not, if I can fight something, I will.
  10. Human error aside, this application of the mean-value-theorem works in favor of the consumer. This method can only find the minimum average speed that the person could possibly have been traveling at that time, rather than the top speed they achieved, which is almost certainly higher than the average. As I said, human error aside.
  11. The only picture to stand out is the backseat, because there's nothing really wrong with it.
  12. I always thought you were younger than be due to how immature you acted. Guess not! Happy birthday!
  13. Inline six engines produce more torque per cubic inch than their V-engine counterparts.

  15. Nah, this one looks like an accident.
  16. Unfortunately it's missing a louvered rear window.
  17. Big deal. I can make a six second car for less than $10k. The majority of the car can be made by welding server cases together.
  18. They do but the backpacker is ugly.
  19. Got it back after 8 years of torture. Not sure where to head with this one. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/album.php?albumid=175
