hocking hills in ohio.,,good for a day hike....but who hasent been there 5times already.... Daniel Boone national Forrest KY is a great trip. we where there last spring. did 2days in the bush last year during springbreak Covered 18 some odd miles(we where moving at a decent speed with the possibility of tracing out way back) http://gorp.away.com/gorp/resource/us_trail/ky/sheltowe.htm http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://flyingfishmanky.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/mb1.jpg&imgrefurl=http://flyingfishmanky.com/id19.html&h=483&w=644&sz=118&hl=en&start=18&sig2=tpK8X35Ex1UM4At6VjVUvg&um=1&tbnid=IwtET2HJ00HUzM:&tbnh=103&tbnw=137&ei=JsGBR6n1B5-4esmwpUA&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dcumberland%2Bfalls%2Bmoonbow%26svnum%3D10%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26rlz%3D1T4GZHY_enUS250US250%26sa%3DN This one has pics from the trail itself It isnt high altitude, so you dont still have ice and snow like you would in smoky mtn national park in Tenn(we actually looked there first, but went with KY d/t the lower altitude) Very nice when you are humping in the day Cool enough to be in pants, a long sleeve shirt(polypro, Under Armor what have you..) and a light fleece during the day. but not so cold it was uncomfortable (30+deg at night though) Just about the entire time you are hiking along the sheltowee river, so you aways have h20. Factoid: sheltowee river has Cumberland Falls 2nd largest waterfall east of mississippi. The trailhead we used started at the waterfall. There are shelters on the trail. But bring a tent just incase. when you get done hiking the people down there are as friendly as can be, and there is alot of history about coal mining. We check out 2 old coal mines that had be somewhat restored for historical value. Plenty of bars intown area to watch march madness. And if you are that big of a fan, you drive right though Louisville. If you cant tell by now, i had a blast and HIghly recommend it... best 5days and under hike ive done. the trails are moderate Not really that tough. it was really a reat trip. BEAUTIFUL. in the "rainforest" part with heavy coverage, it is as green as late spring. I plan on going back for an extended weekend hike again in the spring. PM me if you want more details, or a list of stuff you might wanna bring/how to dress Cumberland falls and its "moonbow" http://img245.imageshack.us/img245/2599/cumberlandfallsmoonbowon6.jpg

knock on wood ive never had any problems. The only trail i have ridden alot was the olentangy trail when i lived on campus. The biggest problem i ran into there was having to lock the breaks up on a kid/parrent who wasnt paying attention. and that wasnt very often. Every now and then we get some guys in the ED who fuck themselfs up decently. broken back for one guy(he was actually scouting a race route for pot holes and dangers....and found one.) Our head radiologist came in one sunday morning after taking a spill. broken arm, Road rash, and brused up a bit. Ive started to sway away from wearing my helmet regularly in the cold months with my fleece head band thing and all...but im getting better about wearing it consistantly now. jesus man, trail sabotage like that sounds staight out of viet nam. Pits with AIDS infected tigers in heat. Yea that does sound kind funny in your head. Some 52year old man..in a bathrobe with crazy white dishelved hair..i picture the pot smoking old man from Road Trip with a shovel crouching behing a street sign trying to look incogneto.irrationally yelling at passer-byers with his shovel in one hand and his penis in his other.

Police: Man Dug Holes In Bike Trail For Revenge Wilson, 52, Faces Felony Vandalism Charge POSTED: 11:15 pm PST January 4, 2008 http://www.nbcsandiego.com/sh/storytools/storytools_newsvine.gifhttp://www.nbcsandiego.com/sh/storytools/storytools_delicious.gifhttp://www.nbcsandiego.com/sh/storytools/storytools_digg.gifhttp://www.nbcsandiego.com/sh/storytools/storytools_facebook.gifhttp://www.nbcsandiego.com/sh/storytools/storytools_reddit.gifhttp://www.nbcsandiego.com/sh/storytools/storytools_rss.gifhttp://www.nbcsandiego.com/sh/storytools/storytools_print.gifhttp://www.nbcsandiego.com/sh/storytools/storytools_email.gif FULLERTON, Calif. -- Fullerton police said Friday that they arrested a man who acknowledged digging holes on a park bike trail as payback for nearly being run down by a cyclist. Sergeant Linda King said 52-year-old Warren John Wilson faces a single felony count of vandalism. King said nearly 50 holes measuring about 1 foot by 2 feet have been found since June along a trail at Laguna Lake Park, and in some cases attempts had been made to hide them from cyclists. She said some riders went over their handlebars after hitting them, but none reported major injuries. She said detectives watching the trails questioned King, who said he had nearly been run over by a mountain bike rider and began digging the holes in retaliation. Dont hate on the spandex and lycria. ON that note im out for a 30mi spin in this 50deg weather!!!!!

When tilley was born, the nurse said, "Holy crap! That's tilley!" Then she had had sex with him. At that point, she was the third girl he had slept with. He once walked down the street with a massive erection. There were no survivors. Crop circles are tilleys way of telling the world that sometimes corn needs to lie the fuck down. There is no theory of evolution, just a list of creatures tilley allows to live. Tilley is not lactose intolerant, he just refuses to put up with lactose's shit. You are what you eat. That is why tilley's diet consists entirely of bricks, steel, and the tears of small children.

http://mistertscommandments.ytmnd.com/ Mr. T's edition of the VH1 show 'Where Are They Now' was the shortest in the show's history. It was 10 seconds long, and consisted of a black screen with the words "Right Behind You" written on it. Despite popular belief, if there is a fool in the woods, and nobody is around to hear his jibba jabba, Mr. T is still able to pity him. http://www.intrawebnet.com/mr_t/

He orchestrated the merger between Unicef and Smith & Wessen." "He went public with his own buttocks and made $7 million." "We once had a bachelor party for Tilley. He ate the entire cake before we could tell him there was a stripper in it." "Tilley once hosted the Grammys and gave every award to Corey Hart." "tilley's family crest is a picture of a baracudda eating Neil Armstrong." "tilley ranked 18th in the AP College Football Pool." "Did I ever tell you about the time tilley was in a production of, 'The King & I?' On opening night, Tilley chloroforms the entire cast and slowly eats them in front of the audience for two hours. The production got pretty good reviews." "He breastfeeds John Madden." "tilley named the group Sha-Na-Na. They did NOT want to be called that." "If you drop a phonograph needle on tilley's nipple, it plays the Beach Boys' 'Pet Sounds.'" "They use tilley's foreskin as a tarp when it rains at Yankee stadium."

"He's a ten foot tall beastman who showers in vodka and feeds his baby shrimp scampi." "He'd eat a homeless person if you dared him!" "His poop is used as currency in Argentina." "tilley drank a full glass of liquid LSD with his eggs. Then he slept for 8 months straight. When he woke he rubbed his eyes and said, 'All in all, I prefer gin.'" Tilley was a 10 foot monster who slept with all our wives! And punched us all in the face! And we loved him for it!"

Did I ever tell you about the time Tilley took me out to go get a drink with him? We go off looking for a bar and we can't find one. Finally tilleytakes me to a vacant lot and says, 'Here we are.' We sat there for a year and a half — until sure enough, someone constructs a bar around us. Well, the day they opened we ordered a shot, drank it, and then burned the place to the ground. tilley yelled over the roar of the flames, 'Always leave things the way you found 'em! He hated mexicans! And he was half-Mexican! ...And he hated irony The character of johny appleseed was based on Tilley... except for the part about planting apple trees... and not raping men He drives an ice cream truck covered in human skulls. He wears a live rattlesnake as a condom. his real name is BILL BRASKEY

Yea i bet. a good buddy since highschool/suby cert. mechanic is going with me to help make that determination. We've got a plan and are sticking to it. If it turns out this car is too trashed and not an investment that will retun for us then we cant/wont take it. Def not going to let personal feeling of having owned this car get in the way thats why im continusouly saying that this is sjut go gauge interest. its also why im not throwing numbers out on parts...bcause i havent seen anything in person yet. as far as buying it back straight up, im persuing that heavily... i dont want to post on here saying im trying to buysomething back and not get it....so im talking worst case senario(it going to auction). We have been talking to our insurance rep and will be talking to him again on monday.
-
nope dont know anything about the passenger fenders. i havent looked at the car yet, and wont untill/IF we can get in to the auction. Again i state all this is contingent upon us even getting into the auction.

yes i did. I keep a list. In a safe. if we loose the list, it would be bad. yea thats why i really want to pick it back up!!! from the pics it looks like all of it. THe doors are good. The interior should be all good(naturally x2 airbags deploied) The exhaust should be good, even though i have yet to see under the engine. The only thing that might be an issue is a radiator. Im hoping it didnt knock the pulley off while it was still running. We'll see as soon a i can take a look at it bah im still at work and cant post pics. as soon as i get home ill give ya a moneyshot where she got tagged in the front.

is the swap from a 4cyl to a windsor as easy as a stock 302 to a windsor? what things do you need to change? either way i am looking at a windsor. Who on here has or has had a one? neg on the turbo for a number of reasons.. Id like to be NA in the high 300s low 400s hp&tq alike with some juice for the weekends. Reliabale(despite the yearning for a powerglide, a 5 speed is for me) Autocrossable. Flat black: a worker not a showgirl ive never worked with a large engine...im thinking of picking one up and building/practicing before i even have a car?!? good idea or is that too many chances on an engine at once with no way to test it(ie a car)

this thread was to determine if there was an interest for the parts. now that there is..we are trying to find someone with some thing to....save some $ and hassel. If and when we can buy it back ill throw out some numbers FO SHO Someone deleted my post. I asked how that was 300hp or if you were talking @ the wheel We never dynoed it ourselfs, the speed shop, out of dayton, that did the install said similar setups brought anywhere from the 280-300 range. thoes obviously arnt hard numbers.
