Ill be eating this Friday night, starting in the AM Slow-Cooker Pulled Pork Russell Jackson, Lafitte, San Francisco 1 cup cider vinegar; 3 tablespoons Turbino sugar; 1 1/2 tablespoons hot red-pepper flakes; 1 (3 lb.) lean boneless pork shoulder, trimmed of visible fat; 1 onion, chopped (about 1 cup); 8 cloves garlic, peeled, split in half; 1/2 cup water; 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard; 2 tablespoons honey; 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce; Salt and pepper In a small bowl, whisk together the vinegar, sugar, red pepper and 1 1/2 teaspoons each of salt and pepper, stirring until sugar dissolves. Score the pork skin in a crosshatch pattern with a sharp knife, forming 1-inch diamond shapes, cutting through the skin, but no more than one-quarter inch deep. Pat meat dry, then rub all over with salt and pepper and let stand at room temperature for one hour. Scatter chopped onion and garlic halves over the bottom of a slow cooker, place the pork on top, add water and prepared vinegar sauce, cover and cook on low until tender, about 8 hours. Remove meat and cool. Transfer the pork to a cutting board and, with two forks, pull it into thin shreds (remove all fat and gristle). Remove garlic cloves with a slotted spoon and mash into a paste. Return the pork and garlic to the slow cooker and stir in the mustard, honey and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper and cook for another hour on low. Serves: 12

Damn dude, you're living my dream. I got to do a couple classes put on by the center for defense preparedness, one of which was the Incident Response to Terrorist's Bombings at New Mexico Tech. We did everything from c4 and pipe bombs up to 500lbs of AN/FO in the trunk of a car. Small potatoes i'm sure to what you're used to, but since then its been my distance goal once on a FD on my choosing is to get involved with their bomb squad. It was a really great course and coupled with the other courses i've taken, i'm hooked. I cant find my picture, but here's one i pulled off the net from the same vantage point and what appears to be a similar range. It looks less than 500lbs, but what eva Ive googled some of the XXXX ton shots EODs put up on youtube....impressive shit. http://img190.imageshack.us/img190/112/new20mexico20bomb20scho.jpg

CPAP- Continuous Positive Airway Pressure. Keeps the smallest part of your lungs(where gas exchange occurs) open and keeps your upper airway open. Its really not a big deal to wear one. They are so small now that they're 100% portable and when its on provides a nice white noise to fall asleep to. Benefit greatly out weighs the risk

i will be happy to put something in and or around your mouth/throat while you are sleeping How about you man the fuck up, take some responsibility for yourself and your family and take the medicine. you know the risks, youve been diagnosed so do something about it... or become a statistic. Why did you bother wasting time at a sleep study if you arnt even going to listen to their advice. for fuck sake, people like you piss me off. Im sure they are just guessing at a cure and really have no idea what they're doing. God damn i hate white people

http://www.outsideonline.com/outdoor-adventure/events/tour-de-france/4-The-Pros-Have-Great-Training-Tips.html http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/6130/july2011protrainingtips.jpg As many bike racers will tell you (off the record, at night, under a bridge), blood doping—using transfusions to boost one’s percentage of oxygen-carrying red blood cells—is still the most effective way to gain an edge. Floyd Landis has claimed that he, Lance Armstrong, and other members of U.S. Postal used transfusions during Lance’s string of Tour victories, in part because they’re impossible to detect. (Or were. The World Anti-Doping Agency now has a test that will turn up trace amounts of blood-bag plastic in the body.) We consulted several doctors to show you how it’s done, but we do not suggest you try this at home. 1. Tap a vein. During the off-season, draw a pint—or several dozen—of your own blood. (Never use a friend’s, which could kill you or raise red flags during a drug test.) Next, add an anticoagulant, such as citrate. Blood bags manufactured by Pall ($15; pall.com) come equipped with 16-gauge needles and are preloaded with anticoagulant. 2. Save it for later. Freeze your blood to store it. Put the bags on a Burrell Model AA wrist-action shaker ($1,850; burrellsci.com), then add intravenous-grade glycerol to keep those endurance-boosting red cells from bursting when they freeze. Store the blood in a liquid-nitrogen freezer ($3,756; bsilab.com) at minus 112 degrees Fahrenheit. 3. Thaw and reinject. Grab a cold bag and dunk it in a 98.6-degree water bath. Wash out the glycerol, another potentially lethal and detectable foreign substance, by spinning it off in a Unico large-capacity variable-speed centrifuge ($1,695; medicus-health.com). Reinject your blood over a two-hour period using a gravity drop. Massages and bus breakdowns offer good cover. Side effects include stroke, staph infections, and feigned indignity. ACCESSORIES Latex-free tourniquet strips come in a variety of colors. $16 per roll A Veinlite EMS can help locate hard-to-find blood vessels. $219 Phlebotomy totes conveniently organize your blood-doping supplies. $199
