I assume that you've been to the Mosin sites already...but if NOT, then here are the places to start...
and of course gunboards...
I loves me some Mosin...fun to shoot, and they just ooze history.

It's a Harris hawk.
Random useless info: Beginning falconers use them a lot for their first bird because they're so friendly and are supposed to have a great personality.
Don't see them around here often, but they are an occasional. My brother tagged one with a Volvo semi...it took out his windshield and blasted his XM windshield mount antenna all the way to the back of the sleeper.
BTW the turtles are a random assortment...mother turtles bury their eggs in fall and walk away. That's all the parental involvement to the species.

The London police use Honda Goldwings as retrieval vehicles in London. There's a company that equips them with a hydraulic lift and deployable out-rigger wheels. They only use them in the downtown area, and only on those little tiny European cars.

I love my M77's... but I've not heard anything of reasons to hate Bill Ruger, enlighten me?
Long and short of it, he came out in support of banning "hi-capacity" magazines. The quote usually attributed to him is something along the lines of "Only a criminal would ever need more than 10 rounds of ammunition"...now the real question is whether he actually believed that, whether he was sucking up to the gun-grabbers in the media, or whether he realized the only good guns his company had for sale or in development at the time were revolvers...

And here's the problem with US adaptations of British shows...they choose a "cast" to fit what the producers want the show to be in the first season, rather than letting the actors/presentators build their own interaction over a couple of years.
I love the cars, the cinematography, the oddball challenges, and even the "star in a reasonably priced car" segments...but the way Clarkson, May, and Hammond play off of each other is what MAKES the show work.

There were a few people over at the CMP forums that claimed to have seen some of the Carbines while in Korea, and they were described as nasty, even the best they saw were well below rack grade.
I love my Garand...for rapid aimed fire at ranges beyond 100 yards, it's hard to beat the Garand. The only draw-back is that darn en-bloc clip.

Bet the North Koreans are really pissed off...wasting perfectly good food like that.

Probably wanted to take a shot at getting on "Ghost Lab".....

Those idiots showed up at Comic-Con this year to protest...well, hell if I know. Apparently D&D is still the #1 threat to America...
Anyways, the counter-protest was epic, and utterly overshadowed the Westfuckboro idiots.

You can shoot .44 Special from most .44 Magnum chambers, just like .38/.357 HOWEVER...I've seen a ton of .44 Mag ammo, but I can't recall ever seeing a box of .44 Spec on a shelf anywhere.
.41 Mag is an option, the performance is more-or-less between .357 and .44, but there are fewer platforms available and ammo choice is somewhat limited.
My Dad's Ruger Blackhawk in .357 is as sweet a shooter as can be found...The only thing I don't like on it is that it is single-action.

that would require a warrant to you provider first.
Incorrect. All the NSA, CIA, DEA, ATF or Homeland Security are required to do is give the carrier a "National Security Letter" saying that the carrier is required to assist in tracking or tapping that phone. Currently, all of the major carriers are complying with these letters while waiting for a court to rule on the legality of the issue. I think Verizon has challenged these letters in the past, and has a court case ongoing, but has essentially rolled over now.
Now a local or state organization is going to have a harder time getting into your phone...but judges maintain a stack of pre-signed warrants all ready for an agency to call and ask for.

Dude is GOOD...couldn't catch any of his slides at all.
I had one of those books that explain how to do tricks LIKE this, not as complex though. I can't do them...little kids look at me and say, "The quarter was in your hand the whole time... fool."

Cincinnati is making the news a lot these days...

Monte Carlo SS nose on a Cutlass too...

Can you even get a siphon pump through the filler tube on a Vette anymore? I thought GM had gone to "Anti-siphon" tubes (welded in cross in the metal section to block the hose but not gas) on all their cars back in the mid-90s...

BMW > LFA....

Can't help with an appraisal, but I'll caution you against test-firing that SxS with modern ammo (assuming you didn't already know). Twist steel barrels are not going to hold up to modern pressure levels.
Gunboards has a shotgun forum, they are about the best resource out there.

Shit, whats the point anyway? Odds are that anything bad enough to require the use of a bomb shelter is going to kill you before you A: know about it (assuming a direct hit from a nuke right down the block), B: can get proper medical treatment (assuming a nuke 2-10 miles off), or C: get to your bomb shelter (at home) from work through 25 miles of stopped traffic and panicked mob (assuming a nuke pretty much anywhere in the country).
The only way a bomb shelter is going to be effective is if you NEVER LEAVE IT, ever ever ever...and why exactly would you bother clinging to life then?

There is a move afoot to counter the mosque that might be built a hundred yards from Ground Zero by opening a gay bar next to it that caters to Muslims. One act of tolerance deserves another, right? .410 is probably a better choice than 20ga for a starter, especially if the child is on the young side. If you do go 20ga, don't give him anything but 2 3/4in shotshells to learn with. Slugs and 3" shot will kick noticeably harder, especially with the lighter weight of a youth gun.
There are quite a few .410/.22LR interchangeable combos, those are a good choice and not much more expensive than a dedicated unit.

anyone have a strobe
Kinda sorta...others refer to it as muzzleflash. :bangbang:

Meh...now if they had used the actual Lambo motor, that would be cool. But that's just a rip-off kitcar body on a tube chassis.

Watkins Memorial...are the tire marks from the donuts I did in the parking lot the last day of school in '93 still visible? I saw them about 7 or 8 years ago...dunno if they ever got around to repaving the lot since then.
