I havent checked my credit score in years, not a good idea I know. Whats the easiest way to check it without getting sucked into the tv commercial site vortex?

If I got a loan for $10k, how much should I expect to pay a month for that size loan? Sorry, its been a long time since I have inquired about any loan.

I bought these ipods new years ago. I have 2 ipod shuffles I believe 2nd gen(someone correct me), 1 gb each(I think), they come with cords. I have a 3rd silver one here somewhere. If I can find it, its for sale as well. $30 each I have not used any of these ipods for months but I did plug them in and they do work. As always will consider all trades. Oh yeah, I assume that from a stealership errr a dealsership lol. I doubt they would offer anything over $500, it would have to be something where they would have to give me a better deal just to get my business sort of thing for me to trade it in.

I bet I could still get $1500 to the right buyer on craigslist, possibly even a bit higher. A guy sold his 99 last week with a destroyed/wrecked front end for $1300 on craigslsit. The honda place in westerville puts some needing tranny's on ebay starting at more than that.

I wonder as well. I found an 07 ford edge for $15k at a dealership and was wondering what they would give me on trade. Odysseys are all over the board. You will see one guy askinf $1500 for his 2000 and another asking $7k for his 2000, and both are in the same condition.

The honda transmissions for these years are notoriously junk. I know several people that are on their 4th and even 5th replacement tranny from the dealership. I was told dont even bother checking with a junkyard because they are that bad. I talked to a rebuilding shop last year who stated they use better parts and the rebuild by them should be fine. I could swap it out myself but not rebuild. There are some rebuilding companies that refuse to rebuild this tranny. Lifes short and its been a long time of cheap cars so were always financially secure, its getting old now. I am tired of always playing it safe and buying a $1k car because I dont know where I will be 3 years down the road I have done this for 17 years now. I see everyone else with a newer car and based on income I should have always had a reasonably newer car. I never really care about my cars breaking down, I know this is always a chance even with newer cars but I will play the odds that a newer car is less likely to have issues at least for awhile.

If I spent $2k on the tranny and the motor which is pushin 230k miles goes out, I will be pissed.

The tranny finally went out on my wifes odyssey so its car time. We could get the tranny fixed for $1-2k but its a 2000 model and we dont need a minivan anymore. I dont want to start dumping money into this thing being so old. So my question is this, I will be dumping all my cash I could be buying a car with into the cake shop. If I want a newer car its going to have to be financed, however since my accident I havent had any verifiable income in 3 years. I dont have any income as on workers comp theres no taxes, they have already been considered and taken out when they evaluate your payment. 3 years ago I had plenty of money but taking more and more out each month has left us just enough to do the shop thing. Is there any way to get a loan and explain to them my situation and them considering it? My wife only works parttime 3hrs a day for many years now and I dont know if she would make enough to qualify for a loan either.

If your girl/mom has verizon see how much it is to switch to the family plan. We have 5 phones and were at $150 a month. Given we dont have any smart phones but even then it would be cheaper with the family plan. Or check into the unlimited data text blah blah blah plans I keep seeing advertised for $35 a month from other providers.

I have tried that scott. I even told her repeatedly that I delete people who do it. I cant just defriend her. She is my aunt and a few years ago her only child killed himself which resulted in her losing her job and for years now she just sits at home all day by herself and over the past few months its all about facebook. I am kind of a surrogate son for her at this point. 30 youtube video links in one day, really? I tried to go to the subscribe option on her page and unchecked the music videos option but it still showed up. I clicked the only important option but now I dont think I will see any of her posts.

Wont that block all her posts? I am fine with her posts, just not when she gets 60's music video youtube crazy.

Please someone tell me theres a way to block youtube videos from facebook. My aunt who is one of my facebook friends posts video after video after video every single day. It just consumes my page. I want to see what she says but never want to see a youtube video. Short of blocking/removing her, is there anything I can do just so I dont see link after link? She is not posting them on my page necessarily but when she posts them on her own, I still see them.

Theres a reason these videos are rarely shown from start to finish.

As a family we are all rather lucky. My family hasnt given each other gifts for several years because they tend to buy whatever they want year around. When the holidays come around theres nothing they want/need and I hate buying something someone will just throw away or just sit around and never use. How is everyone else finding people to donate to this year?

Do you want to know how to do it? Make it? Or what exactly? Poured sugar/isomalt will give you a really realistic water looking surface. If you just want to make edible looking trees you can either buy/make fondant and add icing colored gel to whatever color you want or use modeling chocolate(heavier than fondant). Either one of these are edible and can be molded like play-doh. What exactly are you looking to do?

I wish I could still find it but there used to be a product that you could cut and would adhere to the back of that plastic. Once subjected to the suns uv rays it would become rock hard in whatever shape you put it in. With that stuff it would then simply be a matter of filling in the groove, sanding and painting. Anyone know this product I speak of? Havent seen it in years but Home depot sold it for a short time.
