IIRC the actual time frame falls around winter time(end of november)? That might put a damper on the an outside event unless its put off until spring or happens early as in soon. IMHO a restaurant isnt the most condusive to everyone getting to know each other, finally meeting ect... We've all been there when a group of friends break out because their at the same end of the table and people who come out and dont know anyone get stuck by themselves at the other end. Although I do like the foods provided and like the idea of catering, but with a fee. Once we have a head count and someone throws up a design, I will of course be making the birthday cake,lol.

I agree with AJ on this one. I think the event will surpass the turnout. The last thing you want is for it to come off either half assed and theres people standing around with nothing to do, or so over the top and only a handful of guys show up.

Not sure if they can help, but years ago when I needed a report I called my insurance agent and had him fax it over to me. Not sure you can do this if you dont have an actual agent.

I admit I am not that into politics but with everyone seemingly growing tired of all the bullshit our government seems to be plagued with, why doesnt a guy like Ron Paul who seems to be a straight shooter ever have a running chance?

I never had the single life as my first son was born 15 days after I turned 18 and we were in parent/couple mode as soon as we found out she was pregnant. There have been times that I wondered what it would be like and I am sure for her as well. Once you get over the age of thinking about clubs and going to bars, marriage becomes alot easier. I do regret not having any real friends though but that was gone as soon as we moved during the middle of HS and nobody wanted to hang out with the new guy so I cant blame that on my relationship/marrriage. Then again, my parents never had friends as adults or went out so I never thought I was missing out either. As you get older and the kids start doing their own things you wish there were buddies to call especially if /when you need help with something. My wife came along when I needed her most, I needed someone and I will forever be greatful for her helping me get this far.

I am all for seeing some 16 year old punk kid getting worked over(what was shown in the video) for being disrespectful and arrogant, rude. At that point its a last ditch effort to change the kid around and back in his place. As stated above I think its a bit over the top for a 7-8 year old who appeared to be scared already, and did sound like he was raised with manners at some point. Hell for all we know the kid could have a 2 page rap sheet and the dad has had enough and decided nows the time to fix it.

3 Mine arent facts, as in everything I post its just my personal opinion.

When I did my first tub I already had the wires on the tub, I drilled a hole into the house right at the box(basement). My father in law opened the cover connected the wires and all good(30 seconds). My second tub at this house I just disconnected them from the old tub and connected them right back to the new one. I would have connected them to the box myself by I am scared to death of touching the wrong thing in the box.

The belt is a bit much, your point could be made with 1-2 spanks. The cursing and over the top theatrics are most likely going to result in the same type of kid produced as if you did nothing at all. Consistancy with your discipline and educating the kid why certain behavior is wrong or wont be tolerated is 99% of all it takes. I was whipped like that(not as severe) and it really screws a kids head up. I have never seen a parent do that sort of thing strictly out of love or the hope that it will make the kid a better one, there is always some sort of underlying aggression to show that kind of force and thats not to say he doesnt love his kid. Its sad he feels thats the proper way to handle the situation. Perhaps there will be a time that attitude is needed to change the kids life around but just getting in trouble at a school........... Is the kids dad involved? Sounds like the grandma was the one sending him to school, but at least the dad shows up for disciplining time.

I plan on using this as a point of sale(pos) terminal or basically a cash register minus the drawer. This will be the primary use of the ipad. Theres a company that another member uses for his business that will give you a credit card reader that plugs into the ipad so you can accept credit cards. I will need service for this but also will need service for a laptop in the same space to access the internet. Based on that whats my best plan of attck? Ipad 1 or 2, the mifi box, 3g ipad and jailbreaking fpr the laptop access? Really, I just need the thing to be secure so nobody can access the cards I scan.

It was bought from verizon and although she has a verizon phone(blackberry), nothing has ever shown up on her bill for it. I potentially need an ipad for a project but I need service, is it an option to have it work even if its with a service plan, in otherwords can I buy a plan so it basically getsinternet like a phone does? Also either they havent realized they should charge my mom for service or something because she does get service with it when theres obviously no wifi in range. I know she takes it to tennessee and gets service and theres nothing for miles and miles. Another thought, could I just get a mifi box from verizon and use this as a connection point for an ipad and a laptop? Sorry, difference between ipad 1 and ipad 2.

My mom has an ipad and doesnt think she has a bill for it but gets service. 2. Can an ipad be used as a wifi hub so if someone was using an ipad close to me I would get service on my laptop? 3.
