I think it was a culmination of posts in threads that came to a head in the "neighbors thread". Despite popular belief not every area is the kitchen(whatever its called now) and what goes on in here shouldnt carry over to threads were regular conversations tend to take place. Wether you like what the thread starter or others are discussing in the thread doesnt mean you can personally attack another cr member or keep doing it when your repeatedly asked not to. Hal knew where it was headed and even pointed it out to others in the chatbox. I dont believe he hurt anyones feelings but what options are you left with when your responsible for trying to ensure people enjoy cr and have a good experience yet someone makes it their personal goal for the night to piss someone off and insist on doing it after being asked not to.

If the price is right I may be in.

From time to time I think everyone tends to have some frustrations with the site that tend to show in our posts. All we can do is try not to become part of the problem or let it bother us to much.

Doesnt need to be pretty, I just want it for an old trailer to put straps, jack and stuff in. Doesnt need to lock but needs to have doors that latch closed. Metal or plastic both work. Looking for something cheap someone has lying around they just dont use. Thanks

I would seriously have to consider paying more for a home than it is valued. What would a bank say about someone attempting to obtain a loan for my home if I go to sell?

$15k approx drop, fuck that, especially with almost the entire house being redone/updated since buying.

I have had a few notable "systems" in my cars over the years, but I think technoogy has come along way since the early 90's. There are things/companies out there offereing componets I dont even know what they are. Batteries are now being put in line for something I know nothing about. Boxes are now different than slapping together a few pieces of particle board and drilling a few holes. Hell guys are getting as much power out of a single 10" speaker as others are gaining from several larger ones. I currently have (2) older kicker comp 12's, subs, no box. I also have a newer kicker comp 10", and an older JL w3 10", again no boxes. I have an older bridgeably kenwood 600w amp and some sort of magnum magna bass that offers ????w's, provided by Jasson on here. Using these componets as a basis for a small system whats the best setup I can manage? What gauge wires are needed, what are the box requirements? I am not planning on using everything together so which direction do I head in?

I can understand that. Its often easier to let the cops do their thing vs. potentially causing an ongoing rift. We have neighbors that have only been here a year that you cant say anything to without the race card being thrown around. Alex and his fiancee have had more issues with them than myself and I simply call code enforcement or the cops at this point. I dont want any issue with them, all I want is for them to give every neighbor the same courtesy as we all have kind of shown. I dont want their juvenile children screaming curse words at each other, pissing in the front yard, or acting up at all hrs of the night. I would much rather just go speak neighborly to them but somepeople just arent used to that interaction and are easily offended. We tried that once, it didnt end well.

Maybe I missed something but are you breaking rules/laws or is she jumping the gun by calling the police/harrassing you on issues that havent resulted in any violations because the proper time hasnt elapsed?

I am sure there is some apprehension about being old enough to drive, being able to go out unattended especially on the road, and being unsure of himself as a driver. I think these sometimes come out/ displayed as being frustrated with learning to drive a manual transmission. The car itself or which tranny it has will probably be forgotten the day he gets that piece of plastic in his hand.

No way in hell he's getting up that early. I will do my best to come to the next one especially if its over on this side of town. Last saturday I about headed up in it, but with it being his bday I just had way to much to do. I appreciate the offer of the drag out though:)

He would, dad doesnt. He doesnt get his license for another 3 weeks. I will let him drive it for awhile and if/when he has enough money for something different I will allow him to trade it in/sell it. He's still responsible for gas, insurance and maintenance so its not completely free. If he down right just hates driving it he can drive my suv or moms minivan. Either of us will probably gladly trade with him for awhile.

I have said I was coming about a dozen times but the day it arrives, I have a million excuses why I cant go. None of which carry any real validity.

Very few have actually seen me out socially, and even then not in years. Unfortunately anxiety, and social issues tends to run in my family extending several generations. I am trying to change this with my kids. Nothing says it will work but its not much to spend on the effort.
